    Nice review i like the fact you do follow up videos and add on videos to products you have done before good stuff Al.

    Love your EGO videos! I read online not to go any lower than 40 degree attachment for washing cars or you could strip the paint. The 25 degree attachment should be used for wheels etc but not the paint. Enjoy your new toy!

      Thanks and don’t forget there is a low setting on the pressure washer that helps the pressure.

    I realized earlier this summer how important a foam cannon was and I decided to bite the bullet so to speak and I got the Foam Cannon from Harbor Freight, it was 30 bucks compared to this fancier one but I think it gets the job done quite nicely, now I want ego to make a pressure washer broom attachment for the power washer as it will
    be very useful for big driveways and sidewalks. I like the 50-foot hose and might have to get it, my Dewalt 2100 PSI pressure washer which is plug in by the way is nice, at the time it was released which was 2022, it was retailing for 200 dollars now it didn't come with a foam cannon which the ego does. but now it retails for 299 so it got way more expensive in the span of 2 years. as for this foam cannon, I think it threw a good lather of foam and I liked that you could control how much soap you could have come out of it where as the foam cannon I got from Harbor Frieght cant do that, all you get is the twist dial to change the flow from nice lathery foam to a stream of foam. so I wouldn't mind spending more for this foam cannon vs the one from harbor freight. As always Al, great videos and always so detailed

    The premium foam cannon is a nice addition. But EGO should look at a redesign in which you could add an 10' extension onto the foam end to reach out to 14' house siding. Your thoughts?

    I just received the EGO Pro Foam gun deciding to buy after I saw this video. If I use the foam gun, I thought it would be a nice feature to be able to turn off the soap which cannot be done with the basic foam gun that comes with the power sprayer. But after using the pro gun, it is not a critical attribute since if I have the foam gun on, I probably want soap dispensed. But what struck me as very underwhelming is the pro produces very runny foam, not shaving cream like thickness I prefer and is produced by the basic foam gun that comes with the sprayer. With the basic foam gun, I don’t have to hand wash/rub the car. The dirt comes off with just switching to the spray gun. But with the Ego Pro foam gun, because the foam is so inadequate, I had to touch wash my car which I prefer not to do. The Pro Foam gun may be returned because of the thinness of the foam. Bummer.

    Received my premium foam cannon 3 days ago. Ordered another yesterday. Will use the small one to put wheel cleaner in. One premium for pre wash and the other for contact wash. Overkill I know but I detail for a living so it makes sense to me.

    The new cannon has a 1.2 orifice nozzle. If you want more foam switch to a 1.1 or 1.0.

    $85 is a little too rich for me for that. It's no doubt better than the one supplied with the pressure washer, but not better enough to justify the price premium in my opinion. At the end of the day, both will get soap on any surface. I'm going to stick with the cannon that came included.

      The pressure washer is over $700. And $85 is gonna upset the balance.?

    • @craigd10
      @craigd10 Місяць тому

      @@timkinley1779 I have the tool-only version which costs $450, making this accessory nearly 1/5 of the entire unit's cost. And given the unit already includes a foam cannon, I personally find buying another at any cost superfluous.

    • @timkinley1779
      @timkinley1779 Місяць тому +1

      @@craigd10 He covered it exactly. The one in the kit is a toy. Just because they are both foam cannons doesn't mean they are remotely the same. If I needed a foam cannon, the junky one isn't an example of a decent one.

    • @craigd10
      @craigd10 Місяць тому

      @@timkinley1779 Whats your experience been with the kitted one? For me, it's fine. You'll get no argument from me that the kitted one is inferior. But at the end of the day, it still successfully gets soap on the stuff I want soap on. So, for me it's enough. Others might want the better one, and that's okay too. $85 gets you into professional grade cannons like the MJJC foam cannon pro. It and the EGO upgrade model exceed my needs as I do not use it professionally. If you need a pro grade one, go for it!

    Why are you not diluting the car soap? You should be adding water to the foam cannon tank and adding 1 or more ounces of soap. You are wasting a lot of product.

    • @jonnathanmarcellus4456
      @jonnathanmarcellus4456 Місяць тому +1

      You don’t have to do that way. You can do the way he did it with the proper dilution. Several detailers do it this way. I also use it this way with wheel cleaner neat, no dilution. Try it both ways and see what you like the best.

    • @Mcklain5
      @Mcklain5 Місяць тому +1

      @@jonnathanmarcellus4456 Never saw serious detailers use a foam canon without adding water to the bottle. This is clearly not the way to do it.
