No, that's not likely, I have people in my class who are born after September who are the oldest of the class. Anyone BEFORE Mid August/September would be sent to the previous grade level. People who would be born during the later end of the year would be the oldest, and people on the younger side would most likely be born during June to July/Mid August. January to May are the kids who are in the middle. So you guys don't have this kind of system? I'm kind of confused why everyone is overthinking this.

Ok but actually the birthdays chart is considerable evidence that OMORI is set in the Southern Hemisphere, where everything would make a little more sense towards them being in the same year at school *except* sunny would have likely been moved up a year, which is possible either if he was smart or he moved in from the Northern Hemisphere in one of his first years of school (and kel is a year older). (in the Southern Hemisphere your grade switches at the very start of the year and usually anyone after March starting school goes into a "Year 0" (just my experience.))
