Great performance against England. Slim Jim personally picked this match over the famous 1967 "Keepie Uppie" match as his best ever performance.
Baxter may be the best midfielder ever, alongside Didi and Gerson !
What a great team this was. Listened to the game on Radio.
A great return for Scotland to Wembley where they had lost 9-3 only two years before. They were clearly determined to make amends this time. Sad that they can no longer produce players like Baxter and Law
What about Dave Mackay? He was an all time great too.
I may be wrong, but I think this was the game where England played most of the match with 9 players.........well done Scotland
@@MichaelHill-t2n The match you're speaking was from 1967 i suppose? Scotland played with 10 men here and England were reduced to ten in about 15 minutes.
Scotland lost their captain, Eric Caldow, in the first 10 mins with a broken leg, after an atrocious tackle by Smith, they played the rest of the game with ten men. England played the entire game with 11 players, though Smith was injured as a result of his tackle on Caldow and basically limped through the game.
Oh,God no not Arthur Montfort please not him terrible commentator.
