This movie was criminally under appreciated in my opinion. Not perfect but very well done and entertaining.

There is some amazing screenwriting in this movie that gets overlooked because it's "sci-fi." His explanation at 2:40 is nearly word-for-word what's used in the opening sequence but under duress. Completely underscores the time travel / deja vu aspect.

As much as I enjoy this film (it's honestly a very solid movie in many areas), I've never fully given credit to Levitt's and Blunt's performances. More specifically, I've never really clued into the accents/mannerisms they employ here. Levitt does a genuinely good job of imitating Willis, both in some of his facial expressions and vocal patterns, and I think that helps beyond just the makeup. Blunt, meanwhile, is doing a fine "Generalized American" accent overall, but what sells it for me is her inspiration. She stated in an interview that her main reference for the accent was Chris Cooper, and I really hear that in some of her deliveries, such as 2:23-2:36 here.

She's so smart she hand cuffed him to a cot. Not only is a cot very light, but that bar he was hand cuffed to is a single piece that slides out. All he had to do was take the bar off, then slide the handcuff off the bar.

It still limits his right arm's movement. She doesn't believe in just completely trapping a person. I mean I can't refute your bar argument but a movie with the dumbest time travel implementation you have to suspend your disbelief. Also I love this movie.

He had prosthetic pieces put on during makeup to have himself look more like a younger Bruce Willis. It's always been there.
