Intake looks awesome! I noticed you struggling to remove the bottom of the air intake box and giving up. To remove that you just grab on either side and lift it straight up very firmly. Once it's off you will see how it's attached, don't worry you won't break anything and will make it easier to get those new clips on :)

Sounds awesome I was looking to get a dinan or mst intake but I’m not able to tune my car. If I put the intake on without a tune is it safe ?

Yes it’s definitely safe! Getting an open air intake will increase the whooshes and add a few hp too!

How loud is the new intake? I want to get the Dinan intake but worry it’s same sound level as the stock box

Definitely louder than stock, mostly cause the air filter being different, round and more open compared to the rectangle one that’s stock.
Having had an open cts turbo intake on my last car it was definitely louder but if you wanna hear turbo noises, Dinan should be good, pair it with a turbo inlet pipe and you should be good

Does the intake add to the turbo spool when letting off throttle?

You know, on my previous car (435i) I had a cats turbo open air intake and there was a blowoff sound, but with the Dinan I don’t really hear it. I’m not sure what that’s about tho
