Flew from Melbourne, AU > Newark, US (via Dubai and Athens), and return from New York JFK to Melbourne, AU via Dubai. 4 Different flights, and this feedback is for all of them.
Mate ex crew here but you the only you tuber says truth and way less negative about anything in our industry were the other you-tubers use the Emirates words to get more reach and spread negativity,If any crew bullying you am apologizing on behalf of them cause believe me not all are culprits . I am one ex Ek crew just made redundant few months ago and I can confirm that all the infos in all the videos are sheer truth. And I am glad someone like Orlando gives voice to the dark side of working in certain conditions, because when you are employed, social media are very dangerous as you can easily lose the job for something slightly wrong you post. Note for Orlando, haters exist everywhere on the web, so give them the importance they deserve, especially because you knew from the beginning they are part of the game in the moment you opened the channel. Fussy and cry babies who assume all the time and don't even know any of the content we put out there. I was Cabin Crew for over 30 years and although I don’t miss reporting for duty these days, much prefer reclining the seat when the seatbelt sign goes off, I think that your information is very relevant to anyone wishing to join the industry in the future. Hi Orlando. I worked as an Emirates cabin crew for a year from 2019 to 2020, I got redundant while I was oversea because of covid. I discovered your videos only after that and I think they are great and I share them with my friends who are still in Dubai as cabin crews, and they are really happy with it as well. There are so many informations that are hidden, not said etc, you put some light and clarification in the darkness. And you give them a voice! Because yeah, when you are a an EK cabin crew, you can't post what you want on social media, and you have to be really careful or you can get fired...
I was living in Al Mamzar and liked the area, not far from work, nice places to eat, it's cheaper then downtown, more my type. I still missed nature, Dubaï is to fancy for me, not my favorite city to live. I was not happy there, so thank you for showing also the bad sides of being a cabin crew there, so I can show your videos to my family and friends and they can see and understand better the situation. I missed my freedom ,having my cat (not allowed in EK's accommodation) , my people... I am originally from Chile but I lived for all my life in Belgium, and I didn't realize a lot of benefits I am so grateful now like my freedom, the life insurance, the helps you get, the retirement, the unions,... I send your videos to my friends who are still crew there and they are happy with it too because so many informations are hidden, not said,... And you give them a voice, because they can't say what they want on social media or they could get fired... I was happy being a cabin crew, I loved the job, but not the philosophy of the company, so many people frustrated, being mean to others on board, reporting for nothing,... I am a medical doctor working in Pennsylvania and when I was at medical school, I used to fantasize about being a flight attendant with Emirates. I never got to do it. But watching your incredible videos, I am inspired and part of me feels that I am already living the lifestyle without actually living it. I am sorry if the airline in its quest for supposedly high standards does not always its treats its employees right but I am confident that you will be an asset to any company you decide to work for. To honest, when I first watched your videos I thought these were undercover sponsored by Emirates. I really think that your information is and was highly professional. You mentioned a lot of positive aspects and of course the dark side of working under strict Emirates policies and UAE laws. On the top crewmembers all over the world are suffering from jetlag, lack of private life .And of course Emirates world want to show us only the smiling and always helpful Crewmembers. Everyone who applies for an airline job in the Middle East should view your videos.
I have just discovered ur video and it does help other who needs insights information, I think you need to start making podcast too so it's only "voice" and it's harder for those who mocked u esp if they dont bothered to listen to it lol. And tbh you're not ruining other people's dream, you help them knowing the truth as well so it makes the audience learn about what to expect before they join Emirates too. I spent two decades training law enforcement in the field and the academies. My career has always involved professional training and I wanted to satisfy my curiosity and get some insight on what made the Emeritus crews so impressive. Well, I'm not a cabin crew, neither do I work for an airline. But I have always found your videos interesting. I love aviation, I love Emirates (they are the best airline in the world, in my opinion) and it is nice to know how things really are there. Curiosity is what always makes me watch your videos. I like learning new things. So sad that some people are misunderstanding your work. I have faced mobbing and criticism at work too, because I look different, think different and because I was too nice. The only way you can defend yourself against that, is to defend yourself. The second phase is ignorance. Their will always be negative people in this world, and they will always try to bring you down. Ignore them and go your own way. Stay focused on what you do, because you are doing it right.

Well ignore the mockers ~ you mentioned alot of facts and helped some people. Im a ground staff who knows alot more about our system and still get mocked by a cabin crew checking in on staff travel. They are 80% nice just 15% zalamas~ are rude and other nationality of 5% feeling entitled.
Let's get real every single company is now finding new ways of saving money unfortunately if it means taking great benefits from employees I my self worked for an international retailer then they had to make dramatic cut backs especially the benefits that other companies never had so I think we all have to adjust to these testing times a change can be for the better

I wanted to watch before I comment. I just resigned ans im happy to be out just at the right time, because I won't sell my soul to keep this job. I remember watching your videos years ago and I think one about Sarab or another crew accommodation that I found very interesting. Your delivery is perfect, you really found your niche. Based on past videos I've seen you are not a scam but in my opinion, pharmaceutical companies are a real scam in our society. Anyway, I hope you don't let them get to you because in all the years I've been there, I've noticed that crew are easily brainwashed and followers. Everyone says or does something, they will look around and follow. Just see gossip and how they trash other crew onboard. On every single flight, I've rarely seen people not talking about a crew who's there. I know ppl have been talk sh*t about me but since I was employee, they didn't post direct insult on social media that I've seen. I'm happy to be out of it. I loved the job for the time I was there but the people were annoying. What I don't like is the corporate bs, if the company owes you money or someone did something wrong, they are hush hush about it. Oh and this shavings they like to throw at us like not replying to emails is their bureaucratic way of telling you to f off. But im grateful I've learned a lot. Follow your gut. You're good at what you do. I haven't checked any crew group maybe since last year so I don't know whats the 411 on whats going on lately. But don't worry about them.

Hi Orlando. I worked as an Emirates cabin crew for a year from 2019 to 2020, I got redundant while I was oversea because of covid. I discovered your videos only after that and I think they are great and I share them with my friends who are still in Dubai as cabin crews, and they are really happy with it as well. There are so many informations that are hidden, not said etc, you put some light and clarification in the darkness. And you give them a voice! Because yeah, when you are a an EK cabin crew, you can't post what you want on social media, and you have to be really careful or you can get fired...
I was living in Al Mamzar and liked the area, not far from work, nice places to eat, it's cheaper then downtown, more my type. I still missed nature, Dubaï is to fancy for me, not my favorite city to live. I was not happy there, so thank you for showing also the bad sides of being a cabin crew there, so I can show your videos to my family and friends and they can see and understand better the situation. I missed my freedom ,having my cat (not allowed in EK's accommodation) , my people... I am originally from Chile but I lived for all my life in Belgium, and I didn't realize a lot of benefits I am so grateful now like my freedom, the life insurance, the helps you get, the retirement, the unions,...
I send your videos to my friends who are still crew there and they are happy with it too because so many informations are hidden, not said,... And you give them a voice, because they can't say what they want on social media or they could get fired...
I was happy being a cabin crew, I loved the job, but not the philosophy of the company, so many people frustrated, being mean to others on board, reporting for nothing,... So thanks for showing everything. And congratulations for your new job, well done!!

I am a medical doctor working in Pennsylvania and when I was at medical school, I used to fantasize about being a flight attendant with Emirates. I never got to do it. But watching your incredible videos, I am inspired and part of me feels that I am already living the lifestyle without actually living it.
I am sorry if the airline in its quest for supposedly high standards does not always its treats its employees right but I am confident that you will be an asset to any company you decide to work for. To honest, when I first watched your videos I thought these were undercover sponsored by Emirates. I really think that your information is and was highly professional. You mentioned a lot of positive aspects and of course the dark side of working under strict Emirates policies and UAE laws. On the top crewmembers all over the world are suffering from jetlag, lack of private life .And of course Emirates world want to show us only the smiling and always helpful Crewmembers. Everyone who applies for an airline job in the Middle East should view your videos.
I have just discovered ur video and it does help other who needs insights information, I think you need to start making podcast too so it's only "voice" and it's harder for those who mocked u esp if they dont bothered to listen to it lol. And tbh you're not ruining other people's dream, you help them knowing the truth as well so it makes the audience learn about what to expect before they join Emirates too. Wow! I was shocked to hear about the bulling. I’m not interested becoming a crew member, but I have always been interested in Emeritus airlines since the first time and my wife I flew with the crew. I spent two decades training law enforcement in the field and the academies. My career has always involved professional training and I wanted to satisfy my curiosity and get some insight on what made the Emeritus crews so impressive. Well, I'm not a cabin crew, neither do I work for an airline. But I have always found your videos interesting. I love aviation, I love Emirates (they are the best airline in the world, in my opinion) and it is nice to know how things really are there. Curiosity is what always makes me watch your videos. I like learning new things. So sad that some people are misunderstanding your work. I have faced mobbing and criticism at work too, because I look different, think different and because I was too nice. The only way you can defend yourself against that, is to defend yourself. The second phase is ignorance. Their will always be negative people in this world, and they will always try to bring you down. Ignore them and go your own way. Stay focused on what you do, because you are doing it right.

Well ignore the mockers ~ you mentioned alot of facts and helped some people. Im a ground staff who knows alot more about our system and still get mocked by a cabin crew checking in on staff travel. They are 80% nice just 15% zalamas~ are rude and other nationality of 5% feeling entitled.

Let's get real every single company is now finding new ways of saving money unfortunately if it means taking great benefits from employees I my self worked for an international retailer then they had to make dramatic cut backs especially the benefits that other companies never had so I think we all have to adjust to these testing times a change can be for the better

I wanted to watch before I comment. I just resigned ans im happy to be out just at the right time, because I won't sell my soul to keep this job. I remember watching your videos years ago and I think one about Sarab or another crew accommodation that I found very interesting. Your delivery is perfect, you really found your niche. Based on past videos I've seen you are not a scam but in my opinion, pharmaceutical companies are a real scam in our society. Anyway, I hope you don't let them get to you because in all the years I've been there, I've noticed that crew are easily brainwashed and followers. Everyone says or does something, they will look around and follow. Just see gossip and how they trash other crew onboard. On every single flight, I've rarely seen people not talking about a crew who's there. I know ppl have been talk sh*t about me but since I was employee, they didn't post direct insult on social media that I've seen. I'm happy to be out of it. I loved the job for the time I was there but the people were annoying. What I don't like is the corporate bs, if the company owes you money or someone did something wrong, they are hush hush about it. Oh and this shavings they like to throw at us like not replying to emails is their bureaucratic way of telling you to f off. But im grateful I've learned a lot.
Follow your gut. You're good at what you do. I haven't checked any crew group maybe since last year so I don't know whats the 411 on whats going on lately. But don't worry about them.
