Hey any insight into why you chose the high profile versus the standard? Any differences in sound or feel you think would be different?
Preference BUT if u get lower profile it can collect dust a lot more. It has floating key design if you’re into that. high profile in general is better (IMO) high profile is just far better looking but high and low profile both have the same features and it also depends if you are looking for a clean desk setup go with lower profile if not go high but in the end it’s preference. But for me I like high.
I think low profile looks better imo. It looks more flush and unique in person. The high profile just looks like so many other keyboards aside from the diffuser but some ppl want that. I assume most ppl getting this are into the RGB and the low profile let's it shine more and you also get to actually see part of your switches without taking off the caps, makes for an interesting effect depending on your switch's housing color. Also the silver low profile gives a slight glow effect around the switches. Of course it's all personal preference. As for dust, I've found that with regular air dust spraying, the low profile is easier to clean as the dust doesn't get trapped/walled in. I just do that every week or so and when I take it apart I notice it's much cleaner than my high profile keyboards for which I find my self taking several keycaps off to dust properly.
Are the stabilizers as bad as people say they are?
Yes they are horrible. You need to get new one. I have a sound test of this keyboard with telio switches and zeal stabilizers. Check it out so you see the difference
@@techwithray will I hate this keyboard if I don't replace the stabilizers? I currently have a blackwidow chroma v2 and if it is not worse then that it is fine
@@goggle7240 no you will not hate it. But trying good stabilizers you will see what all the hype is about. Regardless it’s an amazing keyboard
