Went through 4 years of college for game development, and when I saw this scene I freaked out, the amount of instant loading and processing to achieve this was mind blowing.
That and the seamless fast travel. There's no way a ps4 can do that. Matter of fact every sequence of this game has been seamless. No loading whatsoever.
That single scene where Miles gets sent flying through a building and to a completely different district. Setting up a sling shot and flying right back at Sandman was not only ridiculously cool but also super impressive. A PS4 would fly as fast as Miles did in that scene if it were to render that in real time.
One of the things I never noticed is how after Miles gets tossed into the building he quickly makes a web to try and stop himself right before he flies out the window again which shows just how fast and more improved Miles has gotten since the last game.

After finishing the Flame side quest I literally said out loud "There's no way he's Carnage" before he says that's he will unleash Chaos and Carnage. One of the many moments I wish I uploaded my first playthrough to UA-cam
Seeing Miles Morales' fighting capabilities, his reaction speed, and how he uses his extra abilities to their maximum potential, Peter Parker is one helluva teacher.
You can thank the spider sense for that. No one can just think where and when to put down the webbing and just slingshot back at that speed. With spatial awareness, combined with both Spider-man's intellect and super strength, it's an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. That's what makes him an awesome hero

Watching these reactions disappointed me. I have no experience in game development, but I do know games. When I played this scene on my s95b, I almost threw my controller. I was in complete shock. I said they showing out with this scene. I love gaming.
I'm kind of surprised no one is this shocked by this... considering a substantial chunk of environment has to be loaded, then unloaded VERY quickly.

@@Bro77248a good pc will be as seamless but a bad one would probably drop frames or even freeze for multiple seconds whilst loading in the city.
This scene was a cinematographic masterpiece. You never get to see the true strength of giant bosses. This was their justice.

It’s frustrating that no one really paid much of mind towards it but I think that’s the most baddest thing Miles has ever done.
I'm big with any super heroes. Mostly super power heroes, Even for nintendo and sega heroes
