- Here at Automobile's Pro Racer's Take, we've gleefully anticipated getting our hands on the all-new 2020 Toyota Supra. Indeed, 21 years passed since Toyota last sold a Supra in the U.S.-during which the Japanese manufacturer repeatedly and tantalizingly toyed with enthusiasts by raising the prospect of relaunching the nameplate-but the fifth-generation model finally went on sale this past summer. And in our staff's experience so far, it came out of the gate strong. See it in action here.

Andy, another excellent video. Your explanatoon of the handling on your hot lap is always great. Also, I love your positive attitude. Can I suggest one thing? Could you guys do a lap time list at the end of each video to show where the car ranks vs. others? I know varying temps and track state mean the comparison certainly wouldn't be perfect but it would be a nice reference.
Keep these videos coming. Even though they don’t seem to be getting 100k views. They are highly informative.
Glad I discovered this channel today. Top notch track reviews from Andy. Great job!
Love these vids you drive these cars at the limit
great honest review ,loving the a90 supra!
Nice job on the video and love the car.
In the Z4 vid you said the transmission was a bit lazy - how was the Supra’s? Any better?
So it is a 3 seater. Nice drifting!
Good
Here is another take on the Supra by Robert Mitchell, owner of Apex Nürburg in Germany at the Nordschleife. He has driven countless cars on the Nordschleife and actually deems the Supra as dangerous for the track. This isn’t parts sharing this is actually a bmw with Toyota bodywork and some fine tuning
Jkan2001 isn’t that the same thing, just dependent on quantity of parts shared?
Strange how much that interior looks like a BMW .... hmmmm.....
all that for the view inside🤦🏼♂️
400 pounds heaver than a 981 GT4
Jeff G $50,000 cheaper than GT4
This should be a $35,000 car, all day long. You can't tell me that this car costs any more to manufacture etc. than say...a KIA Stinger.
Terry Hesticles Stinger with a 6 cylinder and features similar to this is over $45k, which is quite close to the MSRP of this Supra..
@@ALMX5DP I was SO expecting this comment from somebody.......
SMDH
Terry Hesticles is anything incorrect about what I said?
This guy compares a Supra to Stinger, end of the conversation.
Which new car with the Supra spec has a 35K price tag in 2019?
man that things ugly
