I recently got a 69 Charger rt se. The previous owner replaced the gas tank and hook up the vent line where the return line is supposed be. I purchased a vapor/fuel filter separator and added a return line. Now I am wondering if the vent line that runs along the filler tube simply gets strapped to the frame or do I need add a vent breather? Any idea ?
The vent actually goes inside the driver-side rear frame rail to the atmosphere. No breather necessary. Here is a good link to read up on, has a picture of how it is routed in the trunk -- www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,100451.0.html
Here are a few more links with good pictures. unfortunately none of the vent tube though. I am working on editing a few videos that are a little longer and more detailed on what we are doing on the Charger. We are hoping to do some live streams in the next month or so on our car projects to help with editing and show progress when we don't release videos.
Subbed on personal account. love that you are live streaming some of your videos. We built a video cart but have not used it yet to go live on the car project side. would save a ton of time on editing videos.
Just when you thought we don't have enough projects lol. 🤣😂
