Excited to announce BIC's artwork competition, but also to share with you guys a mini watercolour tutorial on how I go about preparing and painting something like this!
I get asked quite a bit about how I paint skin tones, so I promise I'll write a more in-depth video on that too!
P.S. I didn't actually enter the competition myself, that would be wrong! This competition is for you guys to enter and have fun!

A tutorial on painting skin tones? Oh my lord, yes! I just subscribed to this channel yesterday. Every single bit is inspirational to me. I'm only just starting watercolor but I'm gonna get as good as this one day........it'll take some time though >:) I'm not quite sure if you answered this in a QA video but what background are you? You kind of look like you have some Filipino but I'm bad at pinpointing that stuff out. I'm half myself.

Yes! I've been looking into getting a webcam or something so I can hopefully start doing livestreams to just draw, hang out and chat every once in a while!

lol i'm dutch, 17, but a graphic design student. looks awesome. You scan came out beautiful, i recently had to scan in a watercolor drawing for school, and it got to miss a lot of details sadly. It was because of the paper which was to thin. so sad.

Have you tried the Molotow Liquid Chrome markers ?
They are awesome, they really make a nice and flat chrome layer, and it really becomes one piece, no strokes seen or anything so you cannot see how you applied ir or anything either.
Please tell me what fountain pen (?) he is using. I'm searching for a good dib nib (? - not sure if those are the right words in english) for detail drawing with ink since forever and his pen looks like it's absolutely amazing for details
Can you put the requirements at the beginning of the video if you do something like this again? Wasn't a big deal but I started working on mine along side you but then at the end of the video I heard the requirements. I'm 17 and I'm america haha, I had to scrap the piece.
