Why do you use such bad language. There may be children watching. The Prophet said bad language is the language of the people in hell.
Stop copying americans you dont even sound right.
Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹 peopled by formerly enslaved peoples from West Africa. We use cocoyam (taro) leaves to make our favorite dish called callaloo and boil the cocoyam we call dasheen in our country and eat with all kinds of things. Delicious foods. Stop the arguments we are all one people.
Liberia and Guinea, we make the best vegetables leaves 🍃
That's an opinion.
Yup! You got it so yummy 🤤
One of my favorite soups.. I also add Cassava leaves/ and sweet potatoe leaves , califlower leaves, roast peanuts well then blend or pound to powder.
I live in Ghana Ho... I cook with several leaves daily.. only I don't like meat only fish.. shrimp, lobster, crab. Haitian style .😅😅
U prepare that soup for how long to get a better result my dear? I know cassava leaves takes longo to ready
Plassas is my favorite dish in Gambia
Ebbeh is next.

Great content , you can build a very cool niche with your platform . This is my favorite SeneGambian dish.
She is a Sierra Leonian immigrant who buy land near Tanji and start lying about everything, she can't even cook plasas properly and claim that is from Sierra Leone
I don't know why they want to be us so bad , we are the same as Senegal not Sierra Leone
Wow Yummy 😋😋
Great content, 🇺🇬🇺🇬 in the northern part of Uganda they also eat habiscus leave pasted with peanut butter or mixed with sesame paste served with sweet potatoes or millet food
Whereas cassava leave is also eaten in congo and Uganda it's callef sombe, while some of the conglese mixed it with caterpillar 🐛🐛😂. Nice to decover that sweet potato leaves are eatable
Oui pour les feuilles de patate douce on en fait au Sénégal mais nous vient de Guinée
Ooh Jo's my friend
I love to cook , I have never seen it made like this however this has to be the authentic way to make it.
Because she lie and tried to claim it to be from Sierra Leone, my parents don't know Sierra Leone exist in fact they never meet a Sierra Leonian , they cook the best plasas not this ebola cooking
It’s my favourite food 🥘❤️
Definitely trying this amazing food, I have a lot of potatoes leaves in my back yard. Thanks for sharing ❤

In Northern Nigeria we used mostly Moringa leaves for Peanut soup, almost dsame method of cooking,it's so tasty 😊🇳🇬
In The 🇬🇲 Gambia too, We do cook Moringa leaves 🍃 with 🥜 and fish or meat 🍖. Best served with millet cous "cherreh"...

@@cookingwithsindacothis Sierra Leonians lie too much our government needs to put a stop of those dirty people coming to our country and learn our way of cooking and claim it
She is a Sierra Leonian who learn how we cook and try to lie in everything

Lovely vid, this is originally from Sierra Leone. I guess it’s now a Gambian delicacy too, the word plasas is from Sierra Leone.
You better stop your lies
You people are full of lies, she is a Sierra Leonian even don't know how to cook it properly 😊

Sindaco in Ghana we consume water leaf. It's called BorkoBorko in Twi language. Also we consume loads of other leaves like aleefu, nunum, ayoyo etc. So don't say we don't eat enough leaves in Ghana. it's a matter of individual preference..
It mostly Ewes and Northerners who eat that leaves 🍃
@@cookingwithsindaco is it?
No you are wrong, maybe the fantis dont eat but all of us eat most of them and even .ore@@cookingwithsindaco
@margaretakwa5687 as compared to other Africa countries, most Ghanaian don’t consume leafs even tho we have them. These people consume them on daily basis but we don’t.
SINDACO, WHAT'S POPPING MY BROTHER? I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY OF YOUR FLICK'S 🎥 FOR A MINUTE! I HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL THIS MINUTE 😁😁🇺🇲

Proud of my Gambian sister. One of our favorite dishes. Watching from the UK
Kindly share for other Gambians to watch ❤️🙏🏿🎯

Similar to bito soup in Northern Ghana.

She lied about this plasas coming from Sierra Leone but is originally a gambian dish
Is it sweet potatoes or Irish potatoes leafy
locust bean
Oui elle cuisine pour ses 12 enfants
Plasas = palaver sauce (trouble/argument sauce). It is very Sierra Leonean. It is the reason why cancers were very rare in Sierra Leone. Now we eat too much western foods and not enough leaves and everyone is sick.
It is interesting how the Sierra Leoneans who moved to the Gambia during our long war have really changed the Gambian diet.
Ogiri is fermented sesame seeds.
You people lie too much shame sto your lies, you don't know nothing about this you dirty people think we are the same ebola monkey eaters
You better stop your lies, the only thing Sierra Leonians or Nigerians brought to Gambia is olele you idiot, you think we gambians are the same with you dirty people our attitudes are not the same
You people are the same ask Liberians, we been cooking before your father even born , you people are dirty
Indeed potato leaves is more Sierra leone dish than Gambia.
Gambia cook plasas well before the war of Sierra Leone. Remember the slave trade route started from Gambia. The name Freetown speaks volumes and also we have the same names.
Nigerians don't eat cassava leaves, potatoes leaves, and cocoyams leaves. We have a lots of vegetables
The Gambian English accent sounds similar to that of Ghanaians. My observation though!
The first republic most of it diplomats wen too university in Ghana and sierra leone back then we have lot of Ghanaian teachers
She is part of those Sierra Leonians coming to our country and learn how we cook and claim it

You do realize the people in sierra leone and gambia share the same ancestry. How do we know this, we have the same last names.
Lots of countries cook green leaf 🌿 including Ghana so she is not representing us Gambia but Sierra Leone we don't cook that way she trying so hard to be us but that not the way we cook
