Another tip, don't play it on hard. Unlike in Arkham games, Gotham Knights hard mode just makes the damage sponge enemies even spongier, makes them drop less health pick ups, meaning you'll be going back to the belfry far more often & basically is just not a fun time. Was super disappointed when I tried hard, cause it just made the game a frustrating mess due to lack of health drops & enemy HP & damage just being tripled.
I don't know if you mentioned it but if you hit attack buttons just one per hit and time it perfectly it does a different combo, and most hits are even doubled, like with night wing, his punches are doubled and end combo kicks are different too and more powerful.

Correction for #3 When you swap to a new character you cant buy anything in the skill tree except for perfect dodge so you dont have to worry about not getting it.
As long as the game does a better job at the superhero aspect than Avengers im in... I could care less about the rest, I just miss being in a DC universe

No harm in waiting. This would be a good budget buy. May be less players on it then for random joins or friends but at a £25-35 price range it’d be decent value. I will say though, not noticed a single microtransaction in gsme, even for cosmetics, so it actually has classic gameplay unlocks which is refreshing.
I think most of the bad reviews on this game are directly or indirectly because of the reason they made a game in Batman Universe without Batman If the game was same , but there was Batman in exchange of these 4 characters, the game would ve been loved more. Yes the game is not spectacular, but it isn't bad either. Its a good game , especially for a DC fan like me.

People need to understand that even Batman Arkham Knight was buggy at release, The witcher 3 was a mess , GTA 5 and Rdr2 were also having big performance issues at release. But, with time they became some of the greatest games. This game isnt at Rdr2 or Witcher 3 level , but its definitely a good game with a potential to become great with future updates and DLCS
I've really only used Robin but I love his combat! You CAN button mash but the flashiest dance like flow comes from knowing what your doing. Combining ranged throws, light and heavy melee plus dodges... 🤌🏾😘

I must second this comment way to play is without hud and easy mode until you're geared up and it's getting easier, try medium.
I discovered early on that it's best to be overleveled a bit. The combat really bogs down when the enemies have too much health.
Y’all want a tip? Turn off UI options. Go into settings and turn off whatever you wish and it just makes it better IMO
Don't forget, look for ambulances on the road, they have a chest that will refill your health packs

The reviews are fair. It's perfectly possible that many people can have some fun with a 7/10 game, which is what its metacritic score is.
