😅 I like the grappling hook. These games are made to explore and enjoy the little details that’s why they are open world and have collectibles to find. I understand the want to hurry and speed forward, but sometimes that defeats the little details you are meant to find.

Wow. Man's says he likes it that's all that matters. Every game's worth is subjective to the user. I don't think COD is worth the price since it's the same game over and over with better visuals.
They're in denial that people are enjoying the game. Society is hive minded so for them to feel justified and better about their decision they have to convince other people that the game is bad/not to buy it. Otherwise if we all buy it and enjoy it then their opinion becomes inherently wrong and they'll be upset about that.
When I first found out about the abilities hidden behind the knighthood challenges I wrote it off for a long time. I figured they would be do hard to do I would just wait. It literally takes about an hour to unlock everyone's knighthood skill tree. It's surprisingly easy
The chest next to Dr. Tompkins has health packs. Slightly tested yet unconfirmed, it has a respawn timer. I've gone back to it in the same night and it let be hit it again.
I made the mistake of using all of my AP on Dick's primary abilities before I unlocked Knighthood. New Game + just became mandatory for me if I want that out of the way.

The fact you can turn off the damage numbers that show up above your character's head and the heads of enemies is awesome. Also calling it now I bet a lot of the haters didn't even realize that you can turn the damage numbers off.
I feel like they should have just unlocked all the transport options once one character completes it (there’s even flavour text from Lucias Fox via email that suggests that’s how it’s supposed to work - maybe a bug?!). I’m compelled to grind them and have 3 out of 4 right now, but already I’m finding myself doing literally the same missions in the same locations multiple times, and while that’s still teaching me the differences in how characters handle, it does feel like an unnecessarily burdensome chore to throw into the first 10 hours of the game. (Admittedly, I could ignore that, pick a main, and keep going with story, but it feels at odds with a completionist mentality I think a lot of gamers naturally have). Small design decisions like that make me frustrated with this game, but overall, still having fun
I didn’t kno this seeing as I just bought the game for me n my cousin to have a good co-op gane to play. But I’m my total maybe 20 hrs of gameplay so far I’ve only played any missions as Robin n him as Batgirl. We’re running a game w mains just bc we like to stick w play styles that fit us. But yea seeing as they are technically a team one member unlocking any open world mechanics should open them for others as long as it’s not a “personal” ability gain

But what the main menu difficulty toggle do besides the more/min health of enemies? - does the amount of XP for beating enemies and missions changes depend on difficulty levels? Or maybe amount of crafting materials? Thank you in advance!
Doesn't really change experience or anything like that But sadly enough because of how a lot of modern day gamer cough cough journalists are the real normal mode is actually probably going to be hard But you don't take any outrageous amount of damage or anything like that to use an example if I'm going up against a tank I expect the small frame birds to only be able to take two or three hits. For the best experience of just your standard combat abilities your special ability use and taking advantage of your weapons armor and their various mods stop getting bored or feeling like it's too easy hard is the way to go I've saying this as somebody lazy who likes to run away a lot from difficult things If you put it on any other lower difficulty it feels like you can get away with just cheesing it and you never really use all of your abilities in a single fight
Good stuff but how do I find the freak bulldozers to upgrade my batgirl so can open her momentum ability. All I find are the higher mini bosses and no freaks
I think some of the reviews for this game have been a bit harsh. Fair enough, the controls are a little sluggish compared to the Arkham games, but it's still pretty damn good. After the Saints Row abomination, we NEEDED this.

Which character are you using? I've only touched Red Hood and it took a few seconds to realize that you can only do the timed attack after a Ranged attack. It won't let you do a Ranged timed attack after hitting with melee
99% of this is just you not reading the fucking words on the screen. Like you either left the notification marker up on every page the whole time or opened it and simply didn't read it. And did you seriously make a tip out of "you have to press the a button to continue game, now I didn't know this despite the large "A to continue" prompt on screen?
TIp 1: Do the Tutorial .. the game DOES tell you to do them because you need to complete some of them for the challenges.. Thumbs down after 0:33 .. nice clickbait!!
How about letting people know about the huge framerate spikes that make it seem like it is running far worse than 30 fps on console? . Digital foundry has a really good video on this. Do buy this in it's current state unless in effect you like playing games in the sub 20's as that is how it feels in action with up to 100 m/s plus frame spikes. That is close to 3 times worse than it should be for 30 fps. Even not taking into account the boring combat with no counter moves and the lifeless generic city that in no way resembles an Arkham game , it is still a train wreck of rubbish performance.

You can retrieve healing packs in Gotham, find an ambulance with a chest and you're good to go again
