I definitely can taste the cloves, which I really enjoy! I've been kind of shocked that I like the floral Lakeland topping.

Enjoyed the video Mike, think it has been cold everywhere. It’s been one of those kind of weekends. I have not tried Bosun cut plug, but certainly sounds interesting to me.
    Have a great week
    Regards
    Mark

Hiya 👋 I lived in Paris a few years ago now, and picked up an Estate Pipe in the local Street Market. Took it home and cleaned it up, lo and behold it was actually an English Pipe by a maker called Tranter. Anyhow I loaded up with what was probably SG Full Virginia Flake, and what could I taste....Condor......the ghosting was always there......I never bought or smoked it, it always reminded me of a freshly Tarred Road.....kind of comforting in its way though.......

Yes! I know that ghost well from many estates I've restored and smoked. It never goes away. Thanks for watching!

I love Bosun Cut Plug. Of course, I’m a sucker for Lakeland blends. Give Coniston Cut Plug a try. It’s god 75% dark fired. Nice and rich!

Bloody cold here as well, -23 with the windchill (-9 in Fahrenheit) despite the sun shining in the middle of the afternoon. The weatherman says that next week, we'll enter the heart of winter here and it's going to plummet into the -30's, no fun. The snow makes a crispy sound when you walk on it and your nostrils end up sticking together while your burning ears and fingers are telling you to get back inside ASAP! Hope you had a good weekend. Found an old jar of Mac Baren Golden Extra from 2015, which is a Burley with a hint of Va and the famous (or infamous for some) MB sauce. It provides a nice toasty burley flavor. Of course, John (Matches860) was behind that blend purchase, I had watched his review on it and since we had been chatting for a few years (back then, you could simply reach someone through YT), he told me that this would be a good blend to find out if I could get into Burley's. Miss the guy, hard to believe it will soon be the 4th anniversary of his death. Carpe Diem my friend...

Bosun cut plug is one of my favorites. Hmm i got the clove in mine (bought about 5 years ago). I wish it was more readily available.
75 here in AZ yesterday. Bit cooler with some rain today.

We have no degrees here in Ky. Literally 0. 😮
We agree on Lakelands but I won’t be buying any any time soon either!😂

I enjoy Bosun Cut Plug and keep some on hand. I don't use it more than once a week but, it took a couple of bowls before I began to appreciate it. Good points on the tobacco in the video.

I enjoy the rose geranium topping. My last purchase of Bosun and Conniston cut plug had no flowery topping. I like them both with or without.

Nice chat and it seems you enjoy the bowl. I have not tried this before and when I see “virginia aromatic” I am a kind of reluctant for my own palate (based on previous experience with a few blends). It seems is offered in bulk. The other one I see on tobacco reviews “Bosun cut plug Unscented” seems to be with Va/Burley in the description, that I might direct myself there though it sounds on the aromatic side :-(

I'd agree with tolerable though i haven't the nerve to try the scented version! I do also like condor...

Don't think I would care for this blend.
