I want so much to start my training in a gyroplane, but no one nearby has the training available and the cost is out of my range. I love the videos of these things.
Did get to fly it yourself ? Its amazing, when I took my discovery flight in NY Robert let me fly almost whole hour, except couple tricks, take off and landing, it was one of the most fun days of my life, now my life goal is to buy a gyro lol
Flying low over water and far from shore in a gyro definitely isn't clever. If the engine quits and the gyro drops into water, the chances of escape are far worse than in an aeroplane. Even getting the canopy door open against water pressure while sinking rapidly is almost impossible until the cabin fills. Occupants need to be good at holding breath while swimming upwards.
Hi just watched this vid going to start my training next year funds being in place I checked out a place in North Herefordshire called SHOBDON old RAF wartime airfield cracking little flying club good bar and restaurant also checked out camping facilities as well so give it a look as they have a gyro and helicopter training school there as well as standard micro lights and private aircraft, worth a look 👈👍
@@richvincent6282 , that’s good. I’ve never been able to take a flight in a gyro, but I would love to. Those things are cool as hell. I wish they weren’t so expensive because I sure would like to have one.
I love Gyros but can't watch these selfie videos. It was bad enough with the full frontal at the very start, would've scared the dog but she's on reduced internet time due to a little accident. Good luck but no thanks.

Great music...Ryan Smart. Anew perspective

Yes, very similar to yourself, flew it for most of the hour bar take off, landing and the instructor showing me what it was capable of! Loved it
Oops brilliant Rich! What do they cost and where was your flight? Anglesey?
They cost from 10K upwards. The one I flew in is approx £90k. I flew out of Caernarfon airport.

Absolutely agree, however, we weren’t actually that far from shore and the water was shallow as the tide was out.
Are you still flying? :)
Do yourself a favour try getting a TIF in that black tandem
Yea I’d love too

It’s smaller than I expected.
Looks like you two big guys were packed in there pretty tight.
Lol, what you trying to say!
lol, there’s not much side to side space in those little machines for us manly men.
@@rbnhood39 it actually feels more roomy and comfortable than it looks 👍

Do they make a model without the annoying music?
