Doing the same and absolutely loving it. Don’t know why I dyed it in the first place now. Such a good feeling, honest

I’m growing out my highlights. It’s been 2 years and three months and my natural is down to below my ears. It’s takes a long ass time to get your beautiful hair back. I can’t wait to cut off my bleach ends - I have six inches of bleach I want to cut off. Need to wait another year. Can’t wait!

Perfect Motivation. I am at 1.5 years now. Loving how silky it feels now. Missing the blonde sometimes. But you are right. Enjoying the natural color which is a dark blonde. Sending much love. Thank you❤

Your hair is beautiful!!! I’ve been bleaching my hair for years.. in June it got destroyed by over processing bleach and broke off because it was so damaged … I’ve been growing out my natural color ever since lol!!

Im currently a copper girl and I’m so ready to let it grow out and get my natural color back, paying 60 dollars a month to get my hair retouched is not much but sometimes saving those 60 dollars makes such a difference in my bank account

I know I’m very late to this but I’ve just started growing out my hair and I’m never going back. Your natural hair color is exactly like mine (ex-blonde “mousy brown/dark blonde” child 🥺💓 It’s absolutely gorgeous on you, way more gorgeous than the light blonde ever was, trust me!

I half did this but ruined my progress twice now. My coloe is very similar to yours but I used to dye it dark. Then, missing my childhood platinum I lightened it and every time I deep down regretted it. I find roots ugly tbh hence my own 2-4 weeks box dying. Natural just looks and feels so good and it doesn't come in a box! I totally resonated with everything you said here. I wish everyone would enjoy their natural color more. Love your waves!

It’s so hard to stick it out and I was tempted so many times to stop. But now than it’s been grown out for a few years, I absolutely love it! It’s so worth it. Thank you so much btw!! 🥰🩷

Yes I am here now trying to grow out my natural hair before I go gray 😢 because my daughters now wear my childhood hair color and I want to look like my daughters mommy and have them remember me in my true skin. Feeling only grief for the years of ruining my hair, wishing I’d have had a mother who teaches me better from the get go. I do best to teach my daughters better, they wear only silk scrunches and my oldest has the longest hair in her class of not the whole school. Since I met a a few women in one year all with natural hair colors and all haven’t dyed it I realized how cohesive characters they are, they’re strong wives and moms & have strong boundaries. That yellow hair look simply doesn’t look better. The healthy natural shine ✨ is what I wish to see. Now only couple inches of root grow out, a looooong way to go. I have the same level 6 hair color, I am 100% Baltic Latvian.

I have been bleaching my hair blonde since I was 15 years old. I am now 54 and I just decided this week to let my hair grow out to my natural dark blonde color. I am just tired of spending the time and money on getting highlights every 6 weeks. I really want to appreciate the hair God gave me.

I think we have very similar hair types. I was very blonde as a child, now my hair is like a dark ash blonde. It is also stick straight and quite fine, doesn’t really hold curl very well. I’m tired of the damage from bleaching and colouring. I miss how virgin hair feels. So soft and silky smooth. I’m also considering growing out virgin hair … but I don’t think I’ll od it cold turkey. Will dye it close to my natural hair colour and then grow it out. You really inspired me, yout hair looks really great

Your hair is beautiful. My hair was graying when i was 15. My mom said to me i could color it but only the roots and highlights. So i am 30 now and i am been dying it half of my life. I had a lot of different colors throughout the years. I am at a point now where i am still getting the red out of my hair with highlights and dark roots. So my balayage is getting pretty light now. My hair is dry yes. But i will give it treatments and wash it twice a week so my hair can get back normal. I also have a bit of damage underneeth my ear area. I said to remove that try a sidecut a little. So that is one solution and i have new style what i am trying for 11 years. My husband said yes try it. If it is not you grow it out and leave it at it was. But I dont remember my natural haircolor anymore. Only that was pretty dark.

Oh man, my hair is pretty much this exact color. I have a darker patch at my crown where I have some slightly coarser hair but most of it is fine and this nice shade. I thought I needed to be blonde too because I was dirty blonde as a kid.
I'm growing out a blonde balayage and have somewhere between 4-6inches left of blonde bits but I can't stomach the thought of chopping that last bit off. Mine is long like yours too. It's nice to see other people dealing with similar things!

I sought this video out so I could further motivate myself to go ahead and grow my hair out. I say I’m going to leave it alone every year but I always change it anyways. I remember having really pretty hair as a kid. I just had so much fun being creative and doing fun colors and new colors that I never considered that I haven’t seen my natural color since I was probably 13. 😮 (27 now) thanks for the inspiration

I'm 8 month mark and been thinking what to do, growing or coloring. My natural color is same as yours and never have i ever grow it out. I was 9 when i started coloring the hair and i was natural blonde but now its lot darker. This definitely inspired me to keep going and enjoy my natural hair.

not washing your hair when it's dirty is making your hair fall out because the scalp is dirty. You can even develop seborrheic dermatitis. keeping the hair follicles clean is the most important! :) It's a myth that you shouldn't wash your hair daily, if its needed and not fresh to the touch. keep your hair brushes clean, at least once a week, wash your hair when required (not keeping it oily and nasty for 11 days, dry shampoo is so bad), when washing it's: lukewarm water (opens the cuticle) + shampoo (massage the scalp for 1min) + conditioner (only the ends, will close the cuticle) + cold rise (not ice cold, will further close cuticle) OR when using a mask: lukewarm water + shampoo + mask + conditioner. Using a conditioner even after a mask is ESSENTIAL. A conditioner is formulated to close the cuticle, it's always the last step + cold rinse. A mask is to moisturise the matrix (inside of the hair, which can only be done when the cuticle is open so product can penetrate inside). Be very gentle with wet hair, put it in a microfibre towel for at least 45min. Brush from the ends up so you prevent stretching of the hair when you have a knot. Detangle knots very very gently, it's the Nr. 1 cause of breakage. Then, use a heat protectant + blow dry gently at a 45 degree. Do not let it air dry! :) Air drying creates too much friction and will cause more breakage and split ends. Don't do oil masks on your hair as they don't do anything other than clogging the pores of the scalp. In order to moisturise hair, the cuticle needs to be lifted which only happens when you use lukewarm water -> while you're in the shower. Best is to use a mask in the shower! :) These tips should help tremendously. There are some oils you can use on the scalp but no longer than 30min.

I have been dying my hair black for so long that I don’t know my natural hair color. When I was a kid it was blonde brown. How do I know that color? I want to do color remover for the bottom in May this year, that will be about 5 months. Do you know how to know what my natural color is?

I'm 40 and tired of coloring my hair , it's expensive, and don't have the time either . I also pay for my 17 year old daughters hair all the time and I'm just over doing it for mine . I'm starting to get a few grays so I also want to see my natural color before it goes all gray . I also am trying to switch to toxin free products and coloring it is not good for it at all.
