Since there are 2 hair dressers in this comment section... I’d like to ask if it’s possible to dye my hair after 6 months of highlighting my hair to honey blonde from dark brown hair & I had complete hair damage & breakage? I’d like to dye my hair one solid color & I have been wanting to dye my hair a ginger color is it possible to do so will it damage my hair more? Is it possible to dye without bleaching it? Or should I just not do it at all? This happened at a salon as well. But I’m asking because now I regret not dying my hair to ginger & did highlights.. I never ever had this happen to me even when I bleached my whole hair. I was told by another hair stylist that I was left under heat too long or possibly the hair dresser shouldn’t have put me under heat but it was a complete mess.. I want to dye my hair but now I’m so scared.. I have been dealing with this hideous look because I should have the highlights but since there was breakage most of the highlights are as short as a bob if not shorter. I’m use to coloring my hair at least 2 times in a year but I have not been wanting anyone at all to touch my hair. Please I need advice...

I went to this guy who had done a phenomenal color job on my sister so I went for some color correction and trusted him. I thought he would use color remover on me but he didn't. The first thing he did was chopped my hair off when I asked him not to. I could've tolerated a 6 inch chop at most cause my hair was to my lower back. He chopped all my hair to my collar bone. Then he threw bleach onto my black tips and put foil on them. Then he said to process them faster he used a flat iron to give it heat. Then he threw orange brown on my hair and made me a burnt carpet ramen ginger color. Then he had the audacity to ask me to pay him. I cried so hard. I’ve had so many negative experiences with paying $$$ to hairdressers who promise to do what I ask and don’t deliver. Last experience at a renowned hairdresser: I went in with highlighted balayage blonde ends and natural level 6 roots, asked for an even brown shade as close to my level 6 as possible, so I could just stop coloring my hair once and for all. I left with deep dark brown almost black hair! When I told her this is not what I wanted she recommended using clarifying shampoo 😑 I did and it never got to what I asked, even months later. Everyone loved my dark hair though so I decided to dye it dark brown for a while (had to with my root regrowth), then I went black. Fast forward to now and I want to try myself at getting as close to my natural brown shade as possible at home. I just tried the no bleach shampoo cap method (4 parts baking soda, 3 parts 20 vol developer, 2 parts shampoo) and applied on my black hair, left roots alone, and waited 30 minutes. It lightened it gently to a dark brown! I’m so happy it worked. I’m gonna give it one more round in a few weeks and hopefully that will bring me closer to a medium brown. I know the saying “leave it to the professionals” is normally sound advice. But in some cases, like mine, I feel like I could’ve done a better job myself and have many times after getting botched results from professionals. With that being said, you did an amazing job! I would have left very happy if you were my hairdresser 💗
OMG the same thing happened to me! I had a beautiful head of highlighted blonde, asked for a dirty blonde (my natural hair) so I could stop visiting the salon, and she dyed it black with blonde streaks of hair. I literally look like Snooki. I completely feel your struggle!!
Same happened to me a couple of days ago. I chose a light brown hair Colour that I knew I would suit and the hairdressers dyed it a really dark almost black brown, I wanted to cry. I could have done this myself with a box dye but I thought I'd trust the salon. Waste of money. Used clarifying shampoo and my hair is now a reddy purple colour. Nightmare.
i'm looking to get 5 years of black box dye (and some purple tucked underneath somewhere) removed, however my hair is about 80 cm and i would like to keep as much length as possible. Should i ask my hairdresser for a treatment or should i use masks or just cut the most damaged parts off? You're one of the best hairdressers i've seen so i'd like to know what you think
You did such a beautiful job. I currently dye my own roots (4N brown) every three weeks due to gray hair. I want to go lighter, but would like to know what would be best for color maintenance with lighter hair. Highlights? Balayage? Thank you.
If you want to go lighter I would start by doing your roots with 5N and slowly lightening the formula over the next year up to the desired base colour. Then I would add highlights for dimension. That way the old 4N can grow out and you can have less pigment to fight through when you get foils done
I just did an ombre on my hair with 40 developer but days before this I used color oops to get any unwanted dye out of my hair. So far I’m loving my results.
you did SO well- I can NEVER get my hair to that natural color. I just need to go and get this done myself. I swear they dont make box dye with this color of brown!
So brilliant, wonderful. 😍 Why did you put an 8 19 over orange hair and how can it work? Orange is level 7 or 6 to use toner for, that's what I was taught. And why violet against orange?
How do you mix the color remover with the 20 volume? Do you just add it to the two part package of the color remover? I thought you couldn't mix them! These are great results and I'm trying to go from black (box dye) to redhead!
I know technically there is banding but you blended it in such a way that it looks like a reflection. Shine hides a multitude of sins, so it is beautiful.
hey! i have very long hair (almost touching my coccyx) so i think i would need to use 2 boxes of the schwarzkopf hair colour remover. i wanted to ask u how much of ml of 20 volume u used to mix with it ? thank u !

I do have a question? Could I get to where you got her hair even tho I don’t have box dye. I been going to my hairdresser to get my hair colored. I have a deep red color on my hair now, but my roots are coming in slowly. I want my root color. I want my natural hair back. But I’m not sure if my hair will turn out like what you did. I love the color you got her too. I do have fine hair.
What is your advice if you went to a salon and the person didn’t (literally didn’t) do anything right in regards to the babylights touch up that you asked for? Should you let someone else correct it at the salon (I don’t like anyone’s hair in that salon) or ask for your money back so you can go someplace else and have someone correct it?

Hi so i’ve been dying my hair semi-permanent black for about 6 years and I want to lift certain parts of the color so I can have hot pink high lights, so i have some questions: - Can this be done at home, or does it have to be done at a salon? - How long do you keep the hair insulated and warm? - Are there any risks to having this done? - Have you done this on other clients before? Did they have the same or similar result? Okay that’s it :))) bye~

Hello, I'm licensed as well, but I don't work in the salon. Had my license since 2012. I was coloring my hair a level 4/5 by Paul Mitchell (demi permanent) for 3 months. Then I lightened the mid to the ends. 10 days later I went back in and tried to lighten from where it left off and to the roots. I didn't leave it on because I was scared of it all breaking off. I went over that area (roots to mids) with the Paul Mitchell level 5 demi permanent brown since it i hated how my roots turned out haha.. its been since June I believe that have done that. I really want my whole head of hair to be purple again. I have not put any more brown in my hair since then. Should I wait longer to touch it? Should I use the color remover you used here? Any tips?
What will take the final “light yellow” left over color after lifting out? I can’t stand this on the ends. My hair is gray underneath years of brown color. Lifting 3-4 levels but not to the natural and want suggestions if anyone can offer any.

It looks so beautiful!! I want to get rid of my black box dyed hair too!! Great job!!
Love the color. Her hair and color looks amazing
🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
Unbelievable result! I’ll be over the moon if I was the client and got that result in ONE session!
i'm looking to get 5 years of black box dye (and some purple tucked underneath somewhere) removed, however my hair is about 80 cm and i would like to keep as much length as possible. Should i ask my hairdresser for a treatment or should i use masks or just cut the most damaged parts off? You're one of the best hairdressers i've seen so i'd like to know what you think
This is incredible! She’s probably sooo happy to get that appointment 😄
You’re a miracle worker.
Awe you make me blush!!
I am OBSESSED with how well this worked out for you!
Thank you!! I’m happy with it!!
I just did an ombre on my hair with 40 developer but days before this I used color oops to get any unwanted dye out of my hair. So far I’m loving my results.
40???
@@Sophie-fm7eu yes 40 developer with bleach. I ended up trying to go “blonde” and frying my hair 😂
Girl.... that is an amazing end result!
Thank you so much!
U're a magician!!! Given the canvas, this is perfect! 😍😍😍
Thank you so much 😀
you did SO well- I can NEVER get my hair to that natural color. I just need to go and get this done myself.
I swear they dont make box dye with this color of brown!
That turned out really good hair looks in really good condition and the hair looks healthy
So brilliant, wonderful. 😍 Why did you put an 8 19 over orange hair and how can it work? Orange is level 7 or 6 to use toner for, that's what I was taught. And why violet against orange?
Great technique, great results...i wouldve kept that colour for a long time before going blonde
How do you mix the color remover with the 20 volume? Do you just add it to the two part package of the color remover? I thought you couldn't mix them! These are great results and I'm trying to go from black (box dye) to redhead!
We have the same natural color, so pretty
Great job
Looks amazing. Can’t wait for part 2 x
Thank you! I hope I can film part 2! She’s coming in next week
I think this was an amazing result; thank you so much for creating these videos.
You are so welcome!
I know technically there is banding but you blended it in such a way that it looks like a reflection. Shine hides a multitude of sins, so it is beautiful.
Super well done! What an amazing result
What banding??? I don’t see it at all this looks literally perfect and like her virgin color. It’s amazing
Wow absolutely stunning. I'm thinking about doing this as I have black box dye in my hair. How much would this service cost on average?
So amazing!! May I ask why you chose those colours to make her ends formular? Just want to get my head around it, I’m new at hairdressing xxx
you did a great job! it looks amazing😍
So professional! Great video♡
Thank you!
Her hair color is gorgeous
Considering what you had to work with, I'd say you did a phenomenal job! 🏆🏆🏆
Thank you! Cheers!
hey! i have very long hair (almost touching my coccyx) so i think i would need to use 2 boxes of the schwarzkopf hair colour remover. i wanted to ask u how much of ml of 20 volume u used to mix with it ? thank u !
** because i also did a loot of box dye underneath the black i have rn and want to get rid of
That’s worth some major$$$ amazing work!!!!
Thank you so much
Wonderful ❤ next how are you going to apply ? you aren't going to use color remover ? Just the bleaching toning steps ?
Looks great!! You did an excellent job amd her hair shows no black or orange.
Omg!!!!!..Amazing!!!!!. Wow!!!!.. Great job!!!!!! I wish u were my stylist!!!
YOU ARE SUCH A LEGEND. THE 🐐🐐🐐
😅☺️🥰☺️🥰
So soooo pretty . Btw did u use normal 7 v dev with the tbh toner ? Or did u use tbh dev with the tbh toner ?
What a significant change - wow!
Thanks for the videos . I learned a lot. As we see practically we absorb more. Great work. Having questions
Where do I ask you? Please let me know
You are the Hairdresser that I need but can’t visit cause I am living in Germany :( Such an amazing job ! 🥰
Thank you so much 🥰
I apologize strongly for making comments about hair colouring products which I've recently removed and I'm sorry for any hard feelings. I love your channel and the videos that you have are awesome. You are very talented too!

I don't Schwarzkopf so the tonal numbering system.is different and I had to go transpose it . "pearl as" or "chocolate etc would have been even more helpful, but no worries.i got it. GORGEOUS result for a first session.
The after is soooo pretty 😍
Girl I’m a stylist as well this was amazing
I hope you got something from this tutorial! I have so many more! Also I have tips and tricks on my Instagram @vancity.blonde
That’s a beautiful hair color!😍
She is so pretty!!!
Omg the toner did wonders! It looked like she was just yellow. Can't believe that one toner worked for all of it.
This is a beautiful result. Omfg you are sooo talented
This looks SO gorgeous !!!
My mum has been using dark brown box dyes for years despite me trying to help !!! Anyway it’s now practically black with white 😮 roots and orangey mid !!!!!! She won’t pay to have it done professionally .. she is 100% white and wants to be a level 7 brown . am I better carefully doing a few bleach baths or just bleaching it out up to the orange and then adding a dark blonde light brown ?? Thanks for any help I’m gonna need it xx
Beautiful results!!! I dye my hair black for 10+ years bc of my grays ☹️ but I want to leave it natural I’m loosing a lot of hair … but I’m not leaving my gray roots to grow it looks horrible!
Is there any soft product that I can use to dye my roots for a while until I have enough to cut the hair and go natural???
Please help!!
Amazing 🤩 job as always great artist love this transformation in the first sitting .. 🙌💖
Hi so i’ve been dying my hair semi-permanent black for about 6 years and I want to lift certain parts of the color so I can have hot pink high lights, so i have some questions:
- Can this be done at home, or does it have to be done at a salon?
- How long do you keep the hair insulated and warm?
- Are there any risks to having this done?
- Have you done this on other clients before? Did they have the same or similar result?
Okay that’s it :))) bye~
amazing! can I do this at home if I work quickly? light brown hair box dying grey roots for 20 years always comes out too dark! is it possible to get dark brown box dye to light brown ?
omg love this looks amazing!!
Thank you so much!
That color is beautiful,,great job
Thank you!!!
i’ve dyed my hair multiple colors and then lastly red to jet black box dye and i haven’t dyed my hair in a long time i’ve gotten haircuts and my hair is getting healthier and growing and i rly wanna go blonde again… is this possible and how would that process go?? i also don’t want my hair short it was rly long and since i’ve gotten my dead ends off its a couple inches below my shoulder
What’s banding? Hair looks great btw
This color is AMAZING
I love that end colour ❤
Any tips?
I love love love the end result it’s so natural 🥰wish you was in the Netherlands
Amazing! Looks flawless!
Thank you so much
What will take the final “light yellow” left over color after lifting out? I can’t stand this on the ends. My hair is gray underneath years of brown color. Lifting 3-4 levels but not to the natural and want suggestions if anyone can offer any.
if i dont have TBH from igora line ..what would be the first pretoner you would have used before your second formula from the igora vibrance line?
Amazing work! 👏
I've been wanting this color for years and no hair salon has been able to do this for me!😖
It’s not easy for sure! I would look for a colour correction specialist!
Me too😏
Hello . İ am from turkey . Which used to color? Say me please you are amazing 🎉
