Thanks Roger for this great request - Mark is one of the best voices from the 90's, one of my favourite periods and one of my fave artists. On the fiddle vs violin question - they are the exactly same physical instrument, it's just how you play it. From Google: "The term violin is most often associated with classical music, orchestras, symphonies, and chamber music. Fiddle, in contrast, is associated with a wide variety of music styles including Cajun, bluegrass, folk, and country." Thanks Don for the super reaction!
Mark is outstanding what a voice you just can't beat these old traditional country singers and songs they sing, most are as George Jones, called them "THOSE SAD SLOPPING TEAR JERKERS" and he was the best at doing those types of song's, really miss the old style of music. Thanks again Don, for playing great songs, and thanks to Roger, for requesting a great song!!
Climb the walls, i always took as she was bored and wanted to do a lot. But nothing to do. Not until old country come to town. Climb the wall as bored out your mind
This is one of my favorites from Mark. He has a lot of great songs. Thanks for the request and reaction. It's been awhile since I have listened to this. channel. Glad to be back.
She used to want to climb the walls describes her futility in finding love, until Old Country came to town, and changed it all. I’ve always loved this song as I get a biographical feel when I hear it. Thanks as always…
Don it's been awhile since Randy Travis has been on your channel and I think u should check out his new son Where that came from. It is AI generated and produced by his long time producer with Randy behind the entire thing. They used 22 of Randy's past vocals and mixed it over a surrogate singer and used his band to play the music. I don't call it Artificial Intelligence on this one but Artistic Intelligence
Ive heard that the difference betweena violin and a fiddle, is the violin went to college. Thanks for the song selection. You can never go wrong with old country.
Funny thing. You mentioned doing Mark in place of Garth today. And in your analysis of the song, you talked about it being subdued. You should listen to Mark's version of Friends In Low Places. I've heard it was actually recorded before Garth's iconic version. It also has a very laid back, subdued feel.
One of Mark's Best. Not nearly as well remembered as some of his other songs are. I'm pretty sure it was a Top 5 single though. The last time I heard this anywhere was maybe a couple of years ago on "Country Gold Saturday Night with Rowdy Yates" coming home from work. Have you reacted to Charley Pride's "Roll On Mississippi" before? It's a favorite on that same Radio program and it is such a great song that honestly doesn't seem to be that well remembered in general.
My wife plays this for me once in awhile. I’m bout as country as they come. She says she’s glad ole country came to town.
Scrolling through some of your old videos and stumbled across this song one of my all time favorites. Thanks for doing it.
Thanks Roger for this request of Mark. I like the smoothness in his voice, that lemds itself to story telling songs. Thanks for the reaction.

Thanks Roger. Love this!
As you said Don he's the real deal. You should react to talking to Hank by Mark and George Jones
I recently heard that violins sing and fiddles dance. Thought it was apt.
I absolutely love that !!
Thanks for another great one Ron. Have you reacted to " I'll Think Of Something" ?

She’d climb the walls because she needed some good loving. She never had it until Old Country came to town
Did you know Mark's guitar strap that he uses all the time was one of George Jones'?

Sorry Don for the misspell of your name, I couldn't undo it.

Climbing the walls means her love life was frustrating! Old country refers to rural 10:20 country boy
Compared to city girl!
I will take Mark over Garth any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Garth Brooks sucks
