The scene with Kinger talking to Pomni about his wife actually made me cry, this episode made me forever see him in a new light. He is officially my favorite character.

I already loved Kinger. But after that scene. Made me love him even more that side of his character where in darkness he’s a different guy is the coolest thing

I love the fact that in the first episode, Kinger brings up a bug collection because that's what his wife would have loved to talk about. Kinger could hate "bugs" because he may be thinking about computer and programming bugs rather than actual creepy crawlies. I also am thinking back to all the moments where Kinger was lucid, almost all of them are times when he's in darkness, like at the end of Episode 2 when he has the bucket on his head and calms Ragatha down.
Kinger was definitely the highlight of the episode! 💜🧡💚
He was so brave, protectively, kind, and wise to Pomni, I loved their interaction so much! It was so sweet! He’s one of my favorite characters!

This is probably the first episode where Pomni didn't get an existential crisis at the end.
I think one of the big messages of this episode is there are so many things that are beyond our control and we as humans crave control. Trying to change the things we cant control will only lead to disappointment but there are lots of things we can control specifically our relationships with the people we care about. If we focus on those, work and nurturing and cherishing those relationships well...things seem to get alittle better.
Kinger reminds me of my husband (aside from the losing memory parts) so seeing him talk about his wife and how he thinks about her has been breaking my heart for hours, I don't know what I'd do if I was in his situation...
Y'all's reactions are the best and I've had a lot of laughs with your commentary, so I'll probably just go to those for now and have a few more laughs to cheer me up!

The therapy scene with Caine and Zooble shows that Caine can develop slightly beyond his programmed functions….but it might be incredibly dangerous to let him dwell on that.
I really hope the show isn’t baiting us with this hope. I know it’s a dark comedy, but I want the characters to get a (somewhat) happy ending. It can’t all be for nothing.
Wonderful episode. I’m glad to see more of Zooble too but Kingers character really surprised me. I genuinely got choked up when he was talking to Pomni and trying to comfort her. A roller coaster of emotions.
Oh and keeping Jax tied and gagged was probably the smartest move anyone’s ever made- I hate that he’s my fave! 😂

Kinger wasn’t hypnotised by the monster head, Caine says in the first episode that he can change everything except their minds meaning the monster head couldn’t of purposefully hypnotised him, Kinger was reminded of his abstracted wife

2 things. Firstly, Gooseworx was mainly known for horror content before this show came along. It REALLY shows.
Secondly, I doubt it's a coincidence that Zooble, the non-binary character, was the one to talk about not being comfortable with the body she's stuck in.
