I remember when they first aired the origin of Darwin and i was so excited as a kid. After seeing it again, the episode is still really good and nostalgic for me.
It also answers why he was able to mutate through magical means. The Awesome Store seems to just be the epicenter of so much of Elmore's magical items.
“The Hug” is a classic, we all love how unhinged Gumball and Hot Dog Guy can be. But my favorite in this set is “The Wicked.” It’s amazing how evil one character can be, Mrs. Robinson is another BREED. “The Traitor” is good too, but mainly for that surgery scene. You can’t trust these boys with ANYTHING. And “The Origins” speaks for itself.
"The Origin" episode is definitely one of the best episodes in the series. It show the real meaning of adorable and strong siblings even though it not blood related.
I mean, he is a fish and therefore not any human race. However, I think Ben Bocquilet thinks of him as an African-American since he insists on having him be voiced by a black kid.
