There are so many foreshadowing moments to this, even in previous episodes. Ever since back in the pilot, one of the rooms had a female chess piece picture, crossed out. Plus his references to the bugs throughout the episodes, him remembering Ragatha's first adventure when he had a bucket on his head and was in darkness, etc
Interesting note: In episode 2, Kinger could remember Ragatha's first day in the circus when he had the bucket on his head, then immediately forgot when it was removed. It was played as a joke at the time but I think it was foreshadowing for the revelations in this episode.
And I just noticed how at the end of the second episode when they were all making Kaufmo's funeral, when it was his turn to speak he closed his eyes during the whole time Most likely to "be in the dark" and be able to respectfully honor his memory without going crazy or forgetting things like usual

When the angle appears he pushes Pomni behind him both to protect her and so he had a clear field of fire. Also if you pay attention the longer he is in darkness the more coherent and complex his sentences become from simple sentences to a complex monologue about his wife to a speech to inspire Pomni.

If you look back at Kinger in the earlier episodes, we can actually see his lucidity and his attachment to his wife. Kinger first brings up an insect collection in episode 1, most likely because that's what his life would have loved to talk about and we later see what was likely his wife's room when Ragatha is taking Pomni to Kofmo. In episode 2, when Ragatha is worrying about Pomni, Kinger calms her down only when his head is in a bucket, aka in darkness. It's also interesting to note that Kinger hating bugs could also be a reference to computer bugs, as Kinger brings up the fact that he had seven years of computer programming. Finally, the fact that Kinger glows in the dark when he holds his breath could symbolize him as the sun, brightly shining and leading everyone else around them-- while also being surrounded by darkness. Since Kinger has been the longest out of all the others, he is the Sun while they're the planets, with his wife and the other Abstracts being the void and the darkness of space.
I think kinger needs to be in the darkness in order to stay sane while being in the light makes him crazy also that's why he stays in his pillow Fortress
Yes, however the process is very gradual, and in the Circus the lighting is extremely flat, with not enough darkness for him to properly remember like we see here.

After Watching Episode 3, Kinger is easily one of my Favourite Characters now alongside Pomni and Ragatha ❤️ It explains why Kinger was so wise while wearing the bucket on his head in episode 2 when he was talking to Ragatha and why his eyes were closed during Kaufmo’s Funeral. He finds it easier to speak his mind when surrounded by Darkness because it makes him think of his wife who he really misses so much 😢 That also explains why he is always in his fort all the time as well. Looking back on the previous episodes hits me harder now that I understand Kinger better ❤️
I knew Kinger would come in and prove to everyone how special he is. I wish they all get out of this game by the end of the show, even Jax albeit he probably deserves to be in there.

Kinger's moments of lucidity reminds me of how dementia patients will have moments of realization, followed by forgetting entirely. I wonder if that's the kind of comparison they're making with abstracting and losing yourself.
The way Kinger lost his wife really reminds me of the feeling of losing someone to dementia or alzheimers... It was such an incredibly touching episode😭
the evidence about Jax being a living human using an avatar who can leave has another piece in the maybe pile, Kinger gets much appreciated development and his lucid moments explained *like the bucket on his head making him remember Ragatha's early days in the circus*. Zooble and Caine segment raises some eyebrows regarding Caine's behavior, and the darkness calming an abstracted person....well its is even more clear now Caine doesn't know how to deal with human psychological issues, so the theory an abstracted person could actually be returned to "normal" seems even more possible now. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw them (some of them) in the basement partially or fully restored but chose to stay down there to avoid Caine's insanity.
additionally, thinking about it, Pomni being possessed has some scary implications, because Caine said he can't control their minds...but clearly he can write programs that can hijack their bodies. I love the full circle moment with Kinger. The first line he says in the episode to Pomni is 'try not thinking about it' about holding her breathe and that ends up being the key and what he suggests again in order for them to get out of hell.
I really hope that Pomni starts going and spending time with Kinger in his pillow fortress, cause I’m pretty sure he is present in his mental state when he’s in the darkness of the fort. I just hope that in future episodes maybe we get to see her spending time with him, or at least a reference or two is made of them spending time together. Kinger has become such a father figure to Pomni in this episode and I want to see that last a long time.
The Amazing Digital Circus is currently in the Netflix Top 5, it reached Number 4 the day it aired, climbed to Number 3 for 2 days after, and has now dropped to Number 5, but the fact it's still hovering around that is great news for Glitch.

I personally love the fourth wall call out at 21:31 Basically for those who are unaware the voice actor for kinger got into a bit of drama and the conversation, pomni and kinger feels like a bit of a call out to that entire drama along with treating people right because you don’t know when they’ll be gone lesson, and I absolutely love it
@@rokkraljkolesa9317 to put it bluntly kingers va said something once before he got in the voice acting can’t remember what but wasn’t really that bad I think but Twitter found out and made a whole scene about it Harassing him and goose Works so the episode having the lesson of treating people right is a nice jab at that

Kinger is FANTASTIC Alzheimer’s representation, and I lost my grandmother in February to Dementia. I felt seen and felt like I was seeing her again. I genuinely appreciate it so much more than I thought I would
also there is a blink and miss it potential refrance to "A" or "Able" its when kinger and pomni are in the basement, not to type the full conversation but it starts with kinger saying "7 years of programming for this" - IF Caine is a AI why bring up the 7 years as Caine would have it all already programed it and the way that pomni says "I knew this would happen, HE wants me to suffer" while the whole interaction could imply to Caine, Caine is either programed to be crazy or if we go with the C&A from episode one Caine is a admin also losing it from what Able did and the way Pomni speak is in a way that feels more like intentional malice, we know from the "Exit" the company is called "C & A" and if it is Cain & Able we could be seeing the 1st hits at Able. that she knew this was going to happen for trying to mess with Able's plans and as punishment Able wants her to suffer making sure to some how influence the circus from the real world.
@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth ... No not at all.... I am talking about the chatacyer from the show this video is about =_= the joke is she did a video on the Japanese spiral horror
Guys, guys. LOOK at 21:54 the way she just sits and smiles while looking up at him for a minute. She does it again at 26:24. The girl ADORES him now. (and NO I do not mean in a flirty way, I legit don’t get how some ppl thought it seemed flirty or romantic. He’s pretty clearly supposed to be like her stand-in dad not her bf)
Kinger went from being one of the best characters to being THE best character! Also... would you ever consider reacting to Spooky Month? Despite its name, it doesn't actively try to scare you (most of the time), it's more spooky fun then legit horror (again, most of the time).
I love how a typical Kinger joke "I'm starting to think..." ends up foreshadowing his moment of lucidity with Pomni.
I'm starting to think.... but then I forgot.... but I think it was important....

@@FeligamiAdrizoeSworaDooplivian Was it Hanako?
As chivalrous as he is kind rest my king your time will come
Fun fact: 26:18 at this moment, in Polish dub Caine calls them Skibidi Sigmas 🤮
As someone who had Kinger as their favorite character from episode one (yes really) this episode was such an amazing time!
I was not prepared for that scary floating head.
Great message at the end! Fantastic way to boost recognition and amplification of indie studios in the mainstream!
22:40 hell yeah! Love The Good Place, one of my favorites.
Now I want to see Pomni and Jax together and see what happens
The Amazing Digital Circus is currently in the Netflix Top 5, it reached Number 4 the day it aired, climbed to Number 3 for 2 days after, and has now dropped to Number 5, but the fact it's still hovering around that is great news for Glitch.
9:44 ambush from Roblox doors appears LOL💀💀
I really hope they show us what jax does when he holds his breath
This is the type of horror imagery that I've been waiting for!
Oh my fricking god i screamed NO WAY when i heard her say the most dangerous game
Why, exactly?
Kinger gives a lovable dad vibe. It's calming and you feel protected in his presence.❤ I'm happy Pomni got to actually heal from her traumas just from this small conversation.
I personally love the fourth wall call out at 21:31
Basically for those who are unaware the voice actor for kinger got into a bit of drama and the conversation, pomni and kinger feels like a bit of a call out to that entire drama along with treating people right because you don’t know when they’ll be gone lesson, and I absolutely love it
wait what drama
@@rokkraljkolesa9317 to put it bluntly kingers va said something once before he got in the voice acting can’t remember what but wasn’t really that bad I think but Twitter found out and made a whole scene about it Harassing him and goose Works so the episode having the lesson of treating people right is a nice jab at that
@@SpeedySpringTrap I see
Since the WOW door had a pacefist route I am guessing the AAAAA door did too. If they had read the Angels book and let the head and body reform maybe..
i have been following goose since the last 11 years, and i am so proud of her to see comments like this, thank you
1:31 I personally think/ hope that it’s something cute, that he finds embarrassing.
Like he becomes small and/ or fluffy ❤
Kinger is FANTASTIC Alzheimer’s representation, and I lost my grandmother in February to Dementia. I felt seen and felt like I was seeing her again. I genuinely appreciate it so much more than I thought I would
I’m so sorry for your loss
also there is a blink and miss it potential refrance to "A" or "Able"
its when kinger and pomni are in the basement, not to type the full conversation but it starts with kinger saying
"7 years of programming for this" - IF Caine is a AI why bring up the 7 years as Caine would have it all already programed it
and the way that pomni says "I knew this would happen, HE wants me to suffer"
while the whole interaction could imply to Caine, Caine is either programed to be crazy or if we go with the C&A from episode one Caine is a admin also losing it from what Able did
and the way Pomni speak is in a way that feels more like intentional malice,
we know from the "Exit" the company is called "C & A" and if it is Cain & Able we could be seeing the 1st hits at Able. that she knew this was going to happen for trying to mess with Able's plans and as punishment Able wants her to suffer making sure to some how influence the circus from the real world.
kinger's story now is similar to having a family member with Alzheimer's or dementia
Kingers backstory was really sad and depressing 😢
I thought I was the only one who thought this reminded me of the most dangerous game
Kinger is my new favorite character
Same
Kinger is like pomni's Guardian angel near the end scene. I love that symbolism
Max ears becomes spirals when he holds his breath
You mean Max from Sam & Max? (One of Jax's inspirations, to be sure!)
@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth ... No not at all.... I am talking about the chatacyer from the show this video is about =_= the joke is she did a video on the Japanese spiral horror
They should have asked the man to come alive to help them
At Kaufmo's funeral, Kinger had his eyes closed as he reminisced and spoke.
Well, now I have to buy Kinger merch.
kinger was already my favorite because he's silly, now i love him even more
The fact that the only guy who gains his lucidity in the dark, glows.
We’ll definitely get a moment with all the other characters like kinger’s in this episode
Zamber bubble was talking backwards he said "I can't wait for all the children in the audience to get horrible nightmares from the monster."
Amazing series. This was my favorite episode for sure - whole haunted Vibe amazing and amazing Friendship
Call back to when Kinger had the bucket on his head and gained clearity to the point he was able to remeber Ragathas first day in the Circus
Kinger glowing like an angel of light is adorable
I like to think the reason Jax hasn't told what happens to him when he doesn't breathe, is because nothing happens to him because he's an NPC
No he is not
Gangle for me Is the npc the whole Mask thing dosen't make sense
The bug collection from the pilot , makes sense now
I like how it kinda looks like the bee is made by ai. Like if you look closely at the legs, you see on kind of loops into the body.
