Thank you for your kind words. We have a couple trips on the horizon including glacier np and a return to the sierras. Maybe a Grand Canyon in the mix. For now I’m just gonna play around in the desert for a couple month.

Saying that this documentary was impressive, is an understatement! Seriously, this was professional quality! Looked like a great trip, I recognized Steph at VVR (I met her in Mammoth before her hike) and it was cool to see all the coins on display. Glad you all met up. I'm sure rolling up those sleeping pads the last time was bittersweet.. I miss the JMT already but it sure is good to get back to pizza and beer! Well done to you both.
Pizza and beers in Yosemite. Meet a couple dudes who’d finished earlier that day and ended up with a ride from Yosemite to independence. Magical ended to a magical trip. And Hell it was bittersweet finishing these videos. Weird to relive the trip but glad we put in the effort to document it effectively. Appreciate your kind words. We aimed to make a video that would showcase not only the beauty of the trail but the tedious and mundane and downright miserable moments as well. Awesome series. Thanks for sharing. Great videography. Where did you get the music for the vids? Nice selection of music. I hope your toe is okay. I’ve on my third big toe nail myself from backpacking. It takes 9-10 months to grow a new nail. 😬
Thanks! Very happy to hear you enjoyed it. The toenail is recovering well, still have pain in the foot on occasion but too stubborn to see a doctor. The music was pulled from snapmuse. I need to add links, I was a C student at sourcing but there were a couple artists I used multiple times. The Sierra feel very piano-ey to me. Cheers 🍻
Telling a cohesive story was a challenge but worth the effort seeing comments like this. I sourced all the music from snap muse. I’ll add the tracks to the description over the weekend. Most frequently used artist was Pooja, great stuff. Glad you enjoyed it. Having finally put the JMT to rest, we are now adding some dates on the calendar. Nothing extravagant this year. Grand Canyon either in late spring or fall. Doing a boys trip in June with some buddies in the Toiyabe Mountains in Nevada or Sangre de Cristos in New Mexico depending on snow. Flirting with a Glacier NP trip with Kate in late summer. That’s as far as we’ve gotten on planning
