Selective Color vs Hue/Saturation and other adjustments PSD Box

In this tutorial I will show you how the Selective Color adjustment layer works and explain why beginners get confused when usign this and the Color Balance adjustment layer. I will also show you how you can use the Hue Saturation adjustment layer to more effectively make selective color changes.

Excellent video. I have been deep diving into ways of working with color in Photoshop and at this point I can do just about anything I want to do but this video is a great help in clarifying which color adjustments are best depending on what I am trying to do. One really great thing I have always tried to figure out how to do what I called black balance (which is getting the right hue in the darks like we do with white balance.) Using color balance on the shadows is the answer. Up to now I used the color options in levels and played around with the individual colors. What you showed here is much better. Bravo.

To be honest I don't think this tutorial/explanation is for more advanced PS users as You mentioned, it is more suited for beginners IMHO. Why? Because when one is starting to use PS, the one has to understand RGB color wheel or different color space wheel and how colors are correlating in different adjustments or adjustment layers and differences between them. Though I agree that it can be confusing. Thanks anyway.
