Are you sure you watched the film?
I'm not so sure 😂.
Andes are between chile and Argentina (In south america), the protagonists are from Uruguay (also south america).
Alive is based on a book written in 1973 or 74 by a journalist. The society of the snow is based on the book written in 2008 by a close friend of them.
Both have interviews with the survivors, but with very different approach.
