Upgrading my Toyota starlet braking system

- In todays video i full fit my glanza braking system and add braking fluid (the first time there has been fluids in the car for about 3 years !
i had to trim 2 bolts on my front carriers as they were making contact with the inside of the disk, this is the problem with collecting parts overtime, sometimes they come with the incorrect hardware. i also discovered that i now have an incorrect bolt to hold on my rear passenger side caliper, which may have gotten lost while off getting zinc coated, but not to worry, we can fix this.
Overall we have made good progress and the system is 90% complete, just the handbrake cables left to fit and then bleed the system.
PS - I will be replacing the rusty disks dont worry

Looking forward to watch this
Thanks Stephen, hope you enjoy it ✌️
you still have 3 options with brake master cylinder and booster size to get full potential of brake upgrade, discs and pads are great but the rest is very good for pedal feel and braking force
3/4 will get you most braking force least pedal feel where they say 7/8 will get you less braking force but better pedal feel I have a 7/8 that I swapped out for the middle 13/16 yet to test though ran out of brake fluid. But I am installing 280mm discs with celica 2zzge front calipers as the yellow Gary I believe on UA-cam done with his set up.. I need brakes with the power I am pushing
Joey i am really thinking off respraying my starlet as well and have 0% experience. I think it would be a great idea if you do a Full start to finish ( fool proof) off tool & accessories & step by step on spraying the out side off the car.
Hey Stephen, ya I’m also hoping to do the paint myself, I just need to figure out that fool proof plan myself first 😅.
Are the front brakes seized from lack of use? 😂 keep the videos going!
I was thinking that too. It’s been awhile since they were rebuilt 🤔😅
@@joeygt6794 take them off and try. The sliders might just be a little stuck.
