I have a 1993 Toyota Sera...which has rear disc brakes from a Starlet...I also have a 1990 Toyota Sera which has rear drum brakes.....I am in USA.....One of my rear brake cylinders seized up....my hand brake is seized up also....ive got a rebuilt kit....dont know if I have patience or skill to rebuild...I am thinking that I just want to buy new calipers and rotors and emergency brake cables.....do you know where I can buy them ....???/
@@shedworxxxsorry another question. I’ve been cleaning up the guide pins and pistons. One of my handbrake pins is okay, the other has abit of corrosion on the bolt side. Is there anyway I can send you a photo to check if it’s okay please ?
Hey man this is a shot in the dark but any advice on how to remove the remains of a bleeder bolt that may have broken off in my rear left caliper on my glanza v?? I tried to drill it out but just absolutely fibbed it and I'm lost and idk how to proceed. I'd try to avoid buying a new caliper but if I can't get it out I may not have an option
That sucks! Try lightly tapping a torx head into the hole you’ve already drilled. Once it’s in tight, get a ratchet or spanner onto it and try screwing it out. If that don’t work “Easy outs” are a tool you should look at investing in.
hey mate, good video but there is a mistake when placing the piston back into the caliper, get in touch i can send you some photos of the workshop manual
Class man, this is a job on my list and your probably after saving me hours ✌️

Try Flos.ie my friend. Tell them I sent you 😉
Thanks for that. Fine car I have a 92 gt myself
My piston came out without the thread bolt, so that’s left inside the cylinder. Any idea how to get it out? Thanks.
I’d have to see it tbh but maybe pull it out with a long nose pillars?? 🤷♂️
@@shedworxxx I got it out in the end, thank you for reply though mate!

Are the calipers for the ep91 the same as the 1996 tarcel
I believe they are bro but don’t hold me to that… but Toyota Sera rear calipers are the same.
@@shedworxxx what bolts did you use?
@@MiggYaDigg to boot the calliper on? The original bolts bro, I don’t have a part number for them.
