Javelin Sprintdays Round 6 - Anglesey Circuit / Trac Môn

After the placing 2nd in Class on Saturday by just 0.02s, it was time to do it all again on Sunday!
Throughout Saturday we'd destroyed our front tyres, with the tread delaminating on the punishing 'Long' layout! And despite changing to our spare set, the picturesque North Wales circuit was still causing chronic understeer, which we would counter somewhat with rear damper adjustments. We also decided to make in-lap brake bias adjustments to avoid front locking into Turn 1. With these tweaks, we hoped for better luck on the shorter (and less abusive) 'GP' layout!
However, our fortunes were broadly similar, and despite holding off Liam by a further 0.60s, we continued to trail Ian in his Renault Clio - by 0.75s this time.
RESULT (Round 6): 🥈 2nd of 8 in class J09, 38th of 77 overall
Despite this, our second 2nd-place finish of the weekend was enough to clinch the Modified 2.0L (J09) Championship with our little 1596cc biscuit tin - and with a round to spare!
Thanks to all of my fellow competitors, the marshals and also to Peter & the gang at Javelin Sprintdays. We'll see you all again in a social capacity at Oulton Park!

Man, it seems like every time I tried to beat the sprinkle of rain that second day, it would start raining lol. Good runs though, solid time!
