@YorkiesBitsandBobs 9kw is way too big a for bedroom isn't it? Also, how's the air con been since installation? I'm thinking of using kent air solution for my house. How are they?
its not a 14 KW its a 4 KW and the other one is a 2.5KW not a 9KW , also pulling down a vacuum not the way to do it , proper way is to pressure test with OFN [oxygen free nitrogen ] , he should also use OFN when brazening should be lightly passed tru pipes save getting carbon on inside of pipes then in your system , will burn out compressor eventually , this video is proof you now have no warranty looks like a cowboy ask any AC guy , it should be vacuumed after all pressure testing to eliminate all moister , any inspection will reveal carbon on interior of pipes , and suppliers will check this that OFN has been used while brazing . What was the piont of brazing if he never pressure tested it a Vacum is not a pressure test , The calculation is maximum working pressure as indicated in the instructions and on unit x 1.5 = equals test pressure there are also 2 stages of pressure testing , leak and tightness
They say once a year but that depends on how much you use it and the environment that it is in, you can do some of it yourself, like clean the filters ever now and again.
They install the electrics as required, they did not need to install outside electric as I already had outside electric with all the safety trips it needed

Hello, Yesterday, my technician tried installing my Daikin non inverter AC, but he left in the middle as we could not finalize the outdoor location. Now i have finalized the outdoor location, but the problem is that the copper pipes of the Indoor unit has been straightened perpendicularly by the technician, now the changed location i decided will require the same perpendicularly rotated copper pipes of indoor to be re-rotation of the pipes into their original position as it comes from the company (horizontally aligned inside the indoor). Can this re- rotation of copper pipes from the vertical position to the previous horizontal position cause weakening or breaking of the Indoor copper pipes? Feedback from anyone will be hugely appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for this video. I'm considering getting a similar unit. I was wondering if you might be able to post a video on your channel demonstrating the noise level of the outside condenser machine, ideally when it's quiet outside (e.g. no lawnmowers or drilling from the neighbours). Perhaps you could record with your phone from a distance and then gradually get closer and closer the condenser? Regards
I will look into it, but I will say it is very quiet.
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs many thanks - so you reckon neighbours can't hear it?
@@TandisJenhudson My sister inlaw lives on one side of me and she said she never heard it, and even when I'm sitting in the garden and it's on you can only just hear it when you get close to it, they are very very quiet
Thanks for the video. How noisy is the outdoor unit when fully working? Afraid neighbours may be unhappy as we are planning to place it at the front of the property.
It is very very quiet, we have one outside our bedroom plus the one on the decking they are so quiet, I don't think you have to worry about your neighbours
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs thanks for the prompt response! I was a bit concerned as it sounds quite noise at 14:40 on the video.

Would you replace gas central heating with these units?
I would say no unless it was just for one room, it does produce heating as well as cooling but not sure how much it would cost to install for every room in the house
seem to be grafters anyway what did they charge to install thouse units? entrire cost per room
I have made a video about the cost I think it was £2400
Yes that all sounds amazing Yorkie but does it break the bank to cool down one room the size of your bedroom supplied & fitted???
Mark from London
Hello, Mark £1,109.19 for the bedroom, That depends on how difficult it is to install and the area of your location Londen will cost you more I think
Yorkies Bits and Bobs Home Tech do you know if the unit is actually using 14Kw of power constantly? I need AC in my house badly but the potential electric bill is putting me off slightly lol
@@jordanhogg8495 as far as I understand it will cool the room down to the temperature you set it to and then just turn it's self on and of as needed.as for the fan part of it in my bed room I turn the fan on full for about 10 minutes and then down to the slowest speed and it just holds the temperature at what ever you set it too. You must make sure you keep the windows and doors shut for maximum efficiency
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs For just over a grand I think it's well worth it Yorkie, nice one mate...
@@mfrancis706 Thank you thank you, I had a nice sleep last night it was so good
ooooooooo bit late but you definitely don't want to put anything electrical especially a top Gaming PC under AIR Con units mate! Air con units all leak now and again no matter how good they are!
It's fine, it's not under it I have it pulled forward so any water that comes out will drop behind it
And in the winter does it heat good?
Yes it does it's very good
How much did it cost you?
For both units just over £2300
Hi Great video really useful. I am thinking of getting this setup and the outdoor unit for the bedroom will be on the wall against the bedroom. Is the outdoor unit noisy and would it cause a problem if running at night when we are trying to sleep on the other side of the wall?
No, the outside unit is very quiet and the inside bedroom unit is also quiet, I would like to add that if you set the indoor unit to manual for cooling and fan speed to low (I set my fan speed to the lowest setting) you will have a good night sleep with minimal noise.
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs That's really helpful. Thank you
How much did this cost??
😂 IKR The real info.
Both units just over £2400 that was for complete install
does these units require any monthly/yearly maintenance/cleaning after initial installation?
I think you need to have it serviced once a year and installation should be done by a professional
6 monthly for high occupancy buildings for for a home, once a year. Guys need to be F-Gas certified to even leak check etc.
The owner/customer can still clean filters though, to help maintain.
Do you find it uses a lot of electricity or don’t you notice much difference?
It's been pretty good so far, I have an electric bill coming at the end of this month, I will do a small video update on the cost
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs nice one look forward to that video

Hi how much did the two air con units cost to install?
A 12000 btu system uses approximately 1kw of energy under full load , so you can guage the current consumption of your 2 systems from that , they really are energy efficient, as you've said previously, you have them of full for a short while then throttle them back . Nice reql world vid of the a/c process & the afterward benefits 👍🏼
Is 22c the lowest it can go? I'm looking to get a similar solution, after trying those portable ones that bearly reduce the temp by 1c I'm looking for a perm solution. I don't operate well in the heat so I'm looking for something that can remain at a certain temperature, no matter whether it's 30 or 40+ outside. Thanks.
No 18c
I set mine to 19c to start with but end up changing it to 21c as it can get very cold
Will be 14000btu not 14kw :)
Is it not the same I thought 14 kW = 14000 BTU no?
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs Not quite! 3.5kw = 12000btu, so your bedroom unit being 9000btu is 2.6kw of cooling capacity!

Thanks for the heads up Uni and sorry to hear you had a bad experience, will they not refund your postage once it has been returned?
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs No! They just sent me this email "If it's damaged we advise that the product needs to be checked and tested within the 14 day return window. If that is the case, unfortunately we will not be able to take any further action. If it's faulty, we can collect it and test it in our warehouse. If it's found to be faulty, we will happily replace it as per the warranty agreement. its not a 14 KW its a 4 KW and the other one is a 2.5KW not a 9KW , also pulling down a vacuum not the way to do it , proper way is to pressure test with OFN [oxygen free nitrogen ] , he should also use OFN when brazening should be lightly passed tru pipes save getting carbon on inside of pipes then in your system , will burn out compressor eventually , this video is proof you now have no warranty looks like a cowboy ask any AC guy , it should be vacuumed after all pressure testing to eliminate all moister , any inspection will reveal carbon on interior of pipes , and suppliers will check this that OFN has been used while brazing . What was the piont of brazing if he never pressure tested it a Vacum is not a pressure test , The calculation is maximum working pressure as indicated in the instructions and on unit x 1.5 = equals test pressure there are also 2 stages of pressure testing , leak and tightness
Thanks for the comment
How often do they both need servicing
They say once a year but that depends on how much you use it and the environment that it is in, you can do some of it yourself, like clean the filters ever now and again.
They install A/C ! ,,,but i did notice they don’t carry out the electrical supply,,,,,,Rotary insulator ?
They install the electrics as required, they did not need to install outside electric as I already had outside electric with all the safety trips it needed
Because of that sloping roof, you would have been much better off fitting it at the highest point in the room not the lowest? Hot air rises and cool air falls.

Hello,
Yesterday, my technician tried installing my Daikin non inverter AC, but he left in the middle as we could not finalize the outdoor location.
Thanks
Sorry, I can't help you but have you tried speaking to my installer or sent them an email?
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs Could you provide the contact details?
Not ideal to keep bending the pipes but should be okay. Strip all the insulation back to inspect the pipes to make sure they’re not kinked.
He could do with a torque wrench/spanner if he's doing it professionally...
