'A Reason for Treason' is killer. 'Fame of the Grotesque' is also another one I would choose. Love the little quirks and frenetic vibes. The title track is also awesome plus the singles (I've been listening to 'Nothing Left to Fear' on repeat since it was released.
P.S. 'Asylum Cave' is a crucial album for me in my formative years in the world of Extreme metal ❤

Killer album! How about a playthrough of 'Nothing left to Fear'? The title track would be interesting to watch too.
I would go with 'Fame of the Grotesque' or 'Flesh Against Flesh' or the first play-throughs. But how about all of them? 😁 That is killer stuff as usual! As to my favourite songs: There are many very good ones on this one, so still have to think about it ...
I googled Ekbom because I figured it had to mean something, turns out it's a reference to Ekbom Syndrome aka Delusory Parasitosis or hallucinating that you have a bug infestation under your skin, hence the person in the art turning into a spider and cutting their wrist to get the bugs out.
Julien (singer) used to work in psychiatry, you can find multiple references to this field in every Benighted albums (tracks name, lyrics, album covers etc.) ;)
Also googled it. Where can you find such interesting lyrical topics but in these musical genres? Fascinating reads.

I've been listening the whole album religiously at least once a day since April 15 when I first discovered this.
Holy shit....this year has been absolutely insane for death metal....and it's STILL APRIL!! Another great album from Benighted

This slaps harder than cody on the rock. This slaps so hard I'm on my 2nd listen back to back. AOTY continder hands down
This has easily been one if my favorite bands in the last almost decade now. Always evolving. Most tracks sound distinct and yet fit together nicely as an album. And they never let up on the gas when it comes to brutality. Yet its not such a wall of sound that its boring imo.
Need you and Cattle at the same show please.

This is their magnum opus. Didn't think they had it in them to top Asylum Cave after all this time, but here we are.
Drums, guitars and vocals fuse seamlessly and just click into place. The songwriting is more varied than ever and you can tell Kevin was having a blast (hehe) writing and recording drums for this. In my book, this is a top 10 deathgrind album.
It's one hell of an album, but Necrobreed still takes the cake IMHO

Alors Deathspell omega non plus, Scarve non plus, ni même Nostromo qui sont suisses, c'est vrai que c'est rare mais bon.

Mouais ... navré, je suis déçu.... je me suis ennuyé. J'attends encore un riff marquant, je pense être en manque d'une seconde guitare pour un peu plus de couleur et d'harmonie. Ca bourre, ça gueule non stop et ça passe très souvent du coq à l'âne mélodiquement. Je m'en retourne à Necrobreed et Icon
