Going to purchase my first TDH tonight. I decided on the EDT as I want to start from base and I may get the parfum at a later date. It really depends on which you get first. I already have Bvlgari Man Terrae Essence, so the Terre D'Hermes line was a logical choice. Perfect analysis and well organized conveyance of data. I REALLY appreciate this video. Terre d'Hermes is my favorite scent. I was wondering if I should switch to EDP, but I can tell by the info that I would prefer to stick with the EDT because I enjoy the zesty orange scent, and I like the projection (I wear it in more spaced out social settings).
Great content! I prefer the EDT (a top ten fragrance for sure), but do enjoy the EDP as well. The Bay in downtown Vancouver where I live has a great fragrance department, especially Hermes. One Hermes fragrance that is fantastic for Spring and Summer is Voyage d'Hermes and for some reason gets no mention on any fragrance channel. Thanks!
First time i've tried Terre D'Hermès, was the time i found amazing fragrance 👍. I love how it smells. Orangy, grapefruity with a touch of dirtyness in. I got first the EDT version and loved the smell right away. Projection is perfect. Not too quiet or too loud. Longevity is even better. Smells amazing all the way to a drydown! Good thing is that a drydown loses this orangy touch and becomes mostly dirty/woody/spicy. The vetiver kicks in even more with a patchouli, benzoin and cedar. I mostly can feel all of it. Incredible. The EDT is my current favorite of the line... Except the EDT. Très Fraîche looks very interesting.

I want class, subtlety, aromatic, incense, vetiver, office-friendly, but am very open to a unique twist (perfect example: Comme des Garcons Rouge--wild about it). Mature yet a hint of quirky imagination. Sebastian reviewed these four and, on the Vetiver, concluded that while it was very nice, if you owned the other Terre d'Hermes then why would you need the Vetiver?
