The Gossara one! It was cost-effective, and came in a recyclable bag! I dunno about you, but I never end up using the bags the fukobukoro comes in😂Also loved that it had items that really suited your complexion 💜
The Gossara bag my favorite. From the entire fashion haul the only item I really did get the feel for was the quilted coat. But you wore it well.
I really liked the first bag! The only pb of that one was the dress which was giving conservative as you said 🤢
Other than that, I have a question. Are there lucky bags during all the year or is there a specific season?

I think the vest would look better over the white mock neck. Because it’s so oversized, I think it would look better with a tight sleeve shirt. Pair it with jeans I think.

I think the brown lace vest might be better paired with a form-fitting top underneath (like the one in Bag 1, maybe). That might change your opinion of it. But that cardigan from the first bag looks so soft! I might need to knit myself a clone of it 😆
I was about to comment the same thing, I think the brown vest would be super cute with a shirt with tight sleeves to accentuate the baggy-ness of the vest

literally everything you tried on looked adorable on you. i loved the first bag with the fuzzy sweaters and i loved how everything in that bag *matched* like it was meant to be worn together, that's a super perk. i die for that sweater at 11:15 tho, it looks so cozy 😩😩

It'd be interesting to do a fukubukuro check in one year later, where you review the items you kept last year and talk about whether or not you wore them, if you're going to hold on to them or declutter them now, etc. I always wonder about that!
I considered getting it again but the jacket was almost exactly the same as last year's 😅 But maybe next year I will!!

The brown vest would look good with the first bags white turtle neck under it. The last dress with black bow would look adorable belted, maybe even altered to be shorter with a lacey underlay. 🥰

The vest is actually very pretty. Try it with that white turtleneck you got from the first lucky bag. I think you need something more formfitting underneath it.

For the beige short sleeve cardigan thing maybe try a black long sleeved shirt underneath? I think the bagginess of the white shirt’s sleeves made it look puffy, but i think it could be cute with form fitting sleeves 🙂

The last bag was my fav. The first bag was good too, the first coat was awesome. The second coat was unique. Not bad but just different. The dress with the tight neck was really nice but if the neck can be let out a bit it would be great.
Try the vest over the white turtleneck, I think it would look better over a more fitted long sleeve shirt

In the first bag I would totally wear the fuzzy sweater with the matching dress, with a braided ponytail and a pair of doc martins or lace up ankle boots or a pair of Mary Jane shoes for spring or early summer! So cute! 🥰 Also would wear the coffee colored vest with the brown/black dress from the last bag! 👍

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

White shades look great on you and for UA-cam. You're absolutely right, the dress with black tie at the neck looks adorable on you!!
The white cardigan with threads is actually very flattering! It buttons up so high that you could wear it as a sweater with nothing (or vest if you're cold) underneath. And the split in the side is very nice.

I'm so glad that you mentioned the fabric of the items! I am very picky with fabrics as i only like natural fibres like cotton or linen - the last bag seemed great for that reason! I'll probably never be able to get my hands on one but it's nice to see haha
Happy New Year! Really loved how all of the stuff in the first two bags fit and suited you very well (I think for the tight collars you can add a notch in the back and sew the seams, to give yourself some room). I wasn’t completely sold on the last bag, although those dresses with pockets are A+

For the sweater vest, it’ll look cute if you wore the white long sleeve with it instead of the Victorian child shirt.

I like bag 1 best. I actually like the pointelle sweater vest from bag 3 with a under shirt with more fitted sleeves!
If you take a hair tie, one of the thin ones, you can create an extension for the one dress that you really liked with a pattern of flowers
I like everything or almost the only thing I didn’t like was the brown coat on the gossara bag. Great clothes.

I thought you scored this year with Luck bags. I agree the only thing I was "hard no on" was the vest. Everything else looked really your style and work appropriate, which is always a plus.
Nice clothing pieces in each bag😉. This year your a winner. I remember years before were not so lucky. But this year seems to be made for you. Belt the white and black dress and it will be perfect. Love all the sweaters.
i ordered an earth lucky bag probably 8 years ago now with a camel coat in it and that thing is still in perfect shape. great cut, good fit, and it’s held up to being basically my exclusive “nice” fall coat for years. it looks really timeless. hopefully yours treats you just as well!
My two favorites are the black 1/4 zip and the nineties brown/tan vertical stripes sweater. You did really well with the Lucky Bags. You will have to share about the TV crew following you around. Happy New Year
A trick I do for tight neck shirts is to cut a little slit in the back. I just wear my hair down so no one can tell. You can also sew an extra piece of fabric too. Love the video!
I think you can also partner the checkered sleeveless dress with the cream dress that has a ribbon! The double ribbon might be weird at first but ribbons are very trendy nowadays so it might work :>

I went to the thrift store today (in Sagamihara) and saw the funniest coat (your brown one is in the same vein, somehow). It was a letterman style jacket that zipped or maybe snapped up the front. The body of the jacket was plaid wool, cute. But the sleeves were really oversized and made from light pink fake fur with two bands of colored fur--maybe caramel and white--around the lower part of the arm. I thought, okay, if I were twenty years old I might try this on (but I am not and I didn't). Later I saw a girl carrying it over her arm--sold!

The vest/ sleeveless knit should be worn with a snug top, a little like the white/cream mock neck that’s the one that should be paired with pants, skinny pants.

I like bag #1 the best. I'll be in Japan in a few months and I hope the oversized trend continues, too! I'm an American large, but I'd love to buy some nice cardigans and shirts while I'm there! Maybe next time I'll visit over New Year's so I can experience fukubukuro because it's so fun!!!!!!!
Trust me, this trend isn't going anywhere. I'm working in Japan and go thrifting all the time. Weirdly a lot of the sweaters I see are very wide, but cropped short. They look good with high-rise skirts or pants. You could also check the guy's section.
A friend of mine is high up in an international marketing firm ..... I asked her about these bags. She described them this way .... "The Japanese version of outlets. Garments made specifically or didn't make the stores because of quality". A lot of the items looked very cute on you!
Thoughts… only item that I thought looked really nice was the beige turtleneck. I would hard pass most items but then again the styles are much different in Japan.
