@judyhurst2183 Most people look more sophisticated with it up it always gives it an edge. Most people, well, me and my friends, always have hair up for cooking, gardening and painting, or restoring stuff because it gets in the way if it's down.
Your a beautiful lady either way, hair down or up. I must tell you, I didn’t recognize you at first. You do look younger with it down. I understand you putting it up while you cook and work in the garden. We love all the work you do and always want you to be comfortable.
When Becky did the video with her hair down the other day, I first thought it must be a video from like 10 years ago. She looks so young with her hair down.
Love your mother in law as much as your mom. You are extremely blessed Becky. My mother in law never would go shopping with me. Ever. I asked many times. She would say “ why would I want to do that” and blow me off. And my mother passed away 10 yrs prior. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much joy. Like this. It might seem trivial to some, but to me I just want to be adopted into your family. Such great parents and in-laws and THEE BEST HUBBY. 😊 Looks like a great day you had. And love the hair. Well love it up too. 🙋🏻♀️☮️
When I was a kid my dad put an old metal mailbox I the garden for my mom to put an assortment of her hand tools in. We used that for years and years, it was still there when my mom sold the house when she built one in the country. He did it the right way and cemented a wood 4x4 in the ground. My dad was very handy, I miss him 😢. He passed away 20 years ago this month. Love you dad!
Our neighbors drive is along the back of our property and I want to do that to the top of one of our wooden fence posts! My neighbor and I are always sharing baked goods, eggs, veggies and other goodies so she could drive up and grab it half way up her drive!
Oh to be so lucky to have Renee join us! I've missed seeing her. You're so blessed to have a great relationship with her and your mom! Thanks for letting us hang with you today. Becky, your hair is beautiful! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!!!!
The set of 8 glasses you found at about 9:15 with the little bubbles around the bottom are from the 1950s. The pattern name is Berwick (but many people refer to them as Boopie glass now since a writer who specialized in vintage glass dubbed them that in - I think - the 70s.) They were a less expensive version made by Anchor Hocking of a well-known pattern of better quality glass called Candlewick. My grandmother had a complete set of 12 of all the glasses - there were 5 sizes - along with other pieces of serveware and some small stackable ashtrays meant to go on the dining table or scattered around the living room during a party for individual use. Sadly, my mother hated the pattern and only kept the ashtrays. 🤷🏼♀️ The pieces you were looking at are champagne glasses. And they make spectacular dessert dishes. I ate many a delicious dessert - panna cottas, chocolate mousses, etc from them when I was growing up! ETA: The shape I think you're looking for (like the Berwick ones, but shallower and wider) is a champagne coupe. Pronounced coop, like where your chickens live. 😊
I'm just going to agree with everyone else on here and say you look wonderful with your hair down. You would never guess how long it really is when you have your " Ive got stuff to do" bun all tucked up. Lol. Not that you don't always look fantastic.❤
I totally get her bun when she's in the kitchen. I caught my hair on fire last year while I was frying an egg! LOL. Thank God it wasn't a major blaze, but definitely a little flash!
@user-zo8mf4gn5g I do, too. I've got waist length hair. I always have it up or pulled back in a bandana. Not just for safety but to keep it out of the food. Lol.
@@danielleburchette2599 it sure does! I don't usually have any hairspray in it, but it's down to my butt and I just happened to lean in too far. Got me just a little, but I definitely learned my lesson! Hair up in the kitchen!
I admire your self control!❤. I wouldn’t be able to pass up on some of those items. Would love to see anything that you purchased. Also I want to mention that I truly appreciate your control of the camera. I didn’t get dizzy once. You are a natural.
Yes the tweety bird I do remember. What a fun day! To funny still have that set of Mushroom bowls and they get used alot. I don't get rid of quality products from my early days.....LOL!! Happy belated Birthday!!
It was so lovely to go thrifting with you both , I so enjoyed seeing Renee, we haven’t seen her in a good while. Have a great day tomorrow with your lovely family 💖
Becky you're the best. Thank you for allowing us to go along with you and your mom in law shopping. I don't know how you keep your nails and hair in such beautiful condition.
What a great video. I love that you and your Mother in law hang out together. You look beautiful with your hair down, it's gorgeous! There is a side of you we didn't know was there! You like to antique, and you like to dig for treasures! Take us along again please, and show us what you buy. I would love to antique in your town.
I love your hair up and down. I envy you the relationship you have with your MIL. And I adore antiquing and thrifting. Where I live people leave items on the curbside that you can take for free. I have found many items that way!
I saw this idea a long time ago, Take a mailbox and make a place to store your gardening tools. I love your flowers this year. You have really a beautiful garden.
Happy birthday Becky. I turned 70 on the 5th and I love your channel. Especially how you decide to try something new and just dive in and make it. 🎂 For you!
Girlfriend - I’d love a day to go shopping with you but I live in Georgia! We’d have a blast. Thanks for taking me along with your lovely mother in law. You inspire me to cook new things and desserts and my husband knows when I say “this is Becky’s recipe”! Thanks for all you do to bring joy to so many of us.
Thank you Becky for taking me along for some thrifting. Your MIL is just lovely! So many great finds. I have to mention as well that your hair looks fantastic, of course, how could you miss that!! You are beautiful inside and out! Love your channel! 😍😍
I need the BEST chicken pot pie video now, lol!! Happy Birthday!! Thank you so much for sharing your trip down memory lane. Brought back some awesome memories!
I love when you include your family in your videos. It looks like you and Renee had a great time together. You have such beautiful hair. It looks so flattering when you wear it down. Happy Birthday!

The plastic Tweety Bird we didn't have, but we had a snowman, santa and Rudolph that hung in the front windows when I was a child at Christmas. We are talking about the 60s and 70s.
Becky to clean the enameled cast iron heat it first than cover it with a baking soda paste. Leave it 15 minutes add water and let it boil. You may have it to repeat the process but it does the trick
My thoughts too. Mom has been gone many years however we loved to antique shop/browse. I still enjoy but it was better with my best friend/mother. I love the marigold color Iris and Harringbone depression glass.
I love all you content Becky, I really enjoyed this relaxed thrift shopping with your mother in law. You are very lucky to have a very close family. That is one thing I dreamed of bring my family and in-laws together and enjoying good times and food but not to be unfortunately. I envy your family relationship. Love to all from Australia 😊
The glasses you are looking for are called a coupe glass, I had a champagne tower of them at my 30th birthday. I also have the green tupperware pitcher that we still use!
What a fun day - and fun video! I really enjoyed it! Your mother-law Renee is such a lovely lady - how lucky you are to have such a wonderful MIL. She seems easy to talk to and be with, very kind and so sweet. Must be because she's from Indiana! 😉 All of us ex-Hoosiers are great people! 😂😂 She went west and I went east. Then south. That's a great shopping area! I'd go broke in no time! Just too much good stuff of all kinds. I admire your iron will and self-control! Please take us shopping again every so often. Heck, I'd even love to see the little grocery store you mentioned recently. 🌸🌸🌸 Oh! And I think the cute little, compact flowers you liked are called Pompons, a variety of mums. But there are also Pompon dahlias which are similar but a little bit bigger and you might like those!
The candlewyck dessert cups were beautiful! I used to have a full set of candlewyck dishes. Loved your video! As a former antique dealer, my booth was so much fun to decorate. Retired now, I love watching people shop online as they guess what each item is for!❣💝
First off, loved seeing your hair down. So pretty! Second, happy happy birthday! What a great way to spend it shopping and thrifting. Loved seeing Renee.
My grandma has an antique dentist chair in her house. She wasn't a dentist, just loves antiques!😂 she would absolutely go ham if she ever made it to Battle Ground!

Your hair looks so pretty down Becky!!
She does have beautiful hair.
Makes her look younger
I’m not a fan of Beckys hair down, to me lol she looks much more sophisticated with it up.
