Dear Shehzad, Thanks to you, Muzammil, I was able to unlearn loads and learn a lot more and this was learning, accepting mistakes about our history, our present gave a direction into what and how we will continue to dissect our political, social and economic news, how will we understand about our societal norms and how we will do our part to make things better because this is where we come from- I have been living in US for over 20 yrs but never learnt what Pakistan is all about through our textbooks, our misguided obsession with India, our cultural history, our roots - nothing! Thanks to TPE that I got the opportunity to learn so much more and so much improved within my inner core as a Pakistani - Today when I speak to an Indian I don’t feel the overwhelming urge to put them down - Today, I approach them with intellect, open mind, more empathy, more respect - Thanks for giving us all the path to knowledge that ultimately sets you free from state sponsored shackles of narratives -
Hope your tribe grows, I had mixed interactions with Pakistanis in US. I met well educated Pakistanis who hated India to the core and had all the misconceptions about Army particularly Musharaf when he was a dictator. However one taxi driver from Peshawar was so much matured and had such an intellect discussion. He know so much about India and history and he actually made me interested in looking into Pakistan.
Hi! This is your subscriber from Washington DC. I have never commented earlier. I have been watching you Podcast for a few years now. Absolutely love your content. I may not agree with you on everything but we do not need to agree. That is the best thing about watching the podcast. You are unapologetic about your views. Dear Shehzad, I am an Indian and absolutely love your podcast and am a regular listener. Your podcast has always been a great source of knowledge about Pakistan and it’s people.I had some idea of Palestinian struggle (much before October of 2023) and my sympathy was with them but I never knew the whole situation and of course had my prejudices as well. Or rather I never cared enough to learn more history about it. Your coverage on the Palestine crisis helped me move past my own prejudice to learn more and for that I will always remain grateful to you. Thank you Shehzad. And congratulations on 200k subscribers. Would love to see this go on but that can’t come at the cost of your health. Take care of yourself and do whatever is necessary for your well-being. Take a break if necessary. You will always have a listener in me (and many other like me) on UA-cam.
Perhaps you should not base your perception of any one especially Israel and Palestine based on one source only especially one as biased as shehzad who while pretending to be neutral is actually not. Try looking into the counter narrative, like Indians are doing here to see what Pakistani nerrative is, but above all keep your mind open to "entertain the idea without accepting it". Like I said shehzad himself is very biased against Israel influenced by what he hears 24 hours against it. Israelis people are very nice and modern secular where Jewish is their ethnicity and not religion for majority of the Jews. Israel also has a large Arab population with equal rights so they're very well acquainted to both Palestine and Arab narrative... I would recommend @apostateprophet recent Israel trip to see the reality at ground instead of listening from a Pakistani about Israel.

Hi Shehzad, I had unsubscribed a year back because of your mis-appreciation of the journey we Indians are on. I wished you had actually visited us and seen with your own eyes, how we are trying so hard to escape poverty d illiteracy and how closely we live together. India has some wrongs but plenty right and I was very disappointed with your desire to score points. Today however YT thre this on my recommendation list. Congrats on 200k. TPE is a great initiative... As a viewer I am worried that TPE is taking toll on your well-being. Please take care. Do all that you are doing but perhaps a little more tactfully. Ok I'm glad you read comments because I wanted to tell you that it sucks that very few people understand the value of your tremendous work. As someone who does I want to thank you so much for doing this
I loved the Euro trip part. The guest got a good pair of ears. She was listening to shehzad and was actively asking questions. Loved her attitude. Amazing podcast. Love you shezad ghias.
Listening to you and Muzammil, break down the nuances of Pakistani politics, religious radicalization, and moral bankruptcy of the society, and the conversations you have with your guests on TPE, has definitely given me a different lens of looking at things. I do not agree with a lot of things you say. I don't agree with a lot of things Muzammil says. I do listen to Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza and I do listen to Sahil Adeem. I don't agree with many things that they have said. But just the fact that listening to the TPE podcasts have pushed, if nothing else, me and many others like me to at least allow our minds to explore and think in a new, and a different direction, in addition to our pre-conceived notions. And I think, it's more than enough, that a podcast or a channel could do. I sincerely hope TPE never stops having these difficult conversations, but I do understand and in some way, relate to the mental stress you must be feeling. Hope you feel better, because you are at least hopeful for the future of Pakistan, and I hope, that this hope never dies!
Congratulations on the subs, I always thought difference of opinion was supposed to be a beautiful thing, why as Muslims have we forgotten this? Anyway keep up the good work.
I am a huge admirer of your work from India.I have learnt a lot about history and different perspectives through your work........neverr would've come to know the array of amazing people otherwise.
I initially began listening to this episode and jumped straight to your discussion about your Europe trip, assuming that I had already heard your perspectives on the preceding topics. However, upon hearing the audience questions and your response, particularly regarding the toll it has taken on you and your desire to refrain from discussing politics and other worldly issues, I felt compelled to start the episode from the beginning again. It proved to be a valuable refresher, particularly on the topics of lashing out, polarization, and the exploitation of children for content on social and mainstream media. Hearing you recount TPE's journey allowed me to empathize with the social struggles you've endured and the impact they've had on your mental well-being, all for the sake of raising critical issues and offering constructive criticism. I've learned a great deal from your guests, particularly regarding our distorted history and how today's challenges are rooted in the founding of our country, as well as the failure of leadership to rectify past wrongs. You graciously acknowledged me as an ardent supporter of PTI (a genuine honor), although I playfully contend that you could never truly prove it. While I may have been occasionally critical in my comments, and perhaps perceived moments of bias or uneven treatment of guests, I've never doubted that your podcast operates with any agenda or external control. In closing, I'll certainly miss your podcast if you decide to end it, as it's been a staple during my morning walks. However, what truly matters is your well-being and your pursuit of a healthy, happy, and peaceful life ahead. My heartfelt prayers are with you always, wishing you continued happiness and health. You've fought a significant battle and made a remarkable impact.
I've seen almost all your podcasts, it did keep me updated about some major issues that exist in Pakistan, i had no idea about them because no one ever talked about it. You've also helped me in viewing democracy and politicians from a different lens, and somehow restored my faith in it. Nothing is more important than one's mental health, wish you good health, God bless.
Dear Shehzad, Congratulations on reaching 200,000 subscribers! Your podcasts on Pakistan’s political history are truly remarkable and have been a source of enlightenment for me. Living in Dublin for the past few years, your content has provided me with a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics of Pakistan's history, politics and social and economic issues that I couldn't have gained from national television or course books. Your dedication to exploring the untold stories and shedding light on important factors is truly commendable. I have been a long-time listener of your podcasts and have witnessed your growth and success over the years. Your channel's achievements make me feel proud and accomplished, knowing that I have been a part of this incredible journey. Thank you for your invaluable contribution to preserving and sharing the unseen history of Pakistan. Keep up the fantastic work, and here's to many more milestones ahead! Best regards, Dr. Umer Saeed Haroon
Love listening to TPE Shehzad, it has become my commute companion. I may not agree with your views all the time, but I like the way you present your rationale behind it & I'm always certain that the discussion is going to be a nuanced one. I think consuming those opposing views also helped me unlearn some of the things. So I'm grateful for it. Wish you more strength to continue with your journey & much more success on the way.

I have wached most of your podcasts, some even twice like your's with shezadi. Its not only the political stuff but also your love for comedy, arts, amplifying the voice of marginalized and highlighting the blemishes of our society which has enlightened me the most. What is more astonishing for me is that besides all the controvercial topics you willingly choose to talk about, you also express your limitations in terms of issues with your mental health. Nontheless i genuienly love u as a person. Love from Quetta ❤
Hello Shehzad, I have followed your podcast for a very long time but this is my first and probably last comment anywhere online. I could not stop myself but send some good vibes your way for the work that you’ve done over the last five years in a country and society which is generally hostile to progressive views. You’ve introduced me to some great minds over the years, your podcast has been a beacon of insight and inspiration, and your courage in standing up for what you believe in is nothing short of commendable. Listening to the last couple of podcasts, especially this one, Bro, I am really concerned about your well being, I can see the darkness in your eyes and it is disheartening. Please know that your well-being is paramount, and it’s okay to take a step back when needed. Your health, both mental and physical, is the most important aspect of life, and nothing should compromise that. I also believe that life’s perspectives evolve with significant milestones, such as becoming a parent. The arrival of children has a profound effect on one’s outlook, bringing new depths of understanding and compassion. It’s these moments that remind us of what truly matters. This is why I am so glad that you want kids and are looking to get settled in the near future. Please take care of yourself. Your listeners value you not only for your work but for the wonderful person you are. We are here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.
Hey shezad!!! Thanks for coming out with another episode of my favourite study jam❤ But on a more serious note, thanks for bringing sanity and empathy to this insane social media landscape and breaking it all down into such easily understandable language.... Hi Shehzad It'll be great if you can do a video on how you _yourself_ changed in last 10-12 years from an Imran Khan supporter to your current nuanced understanding. What were the significant breaking points which changed your view (it must've happened slowly)
This was the perfect way to celebrate 200K followers. Truly well deserved Shehzad! I've been a fan of your podcast from day one and it has helped me see so much so differently. I was one of the people brainwashed by Pakistan studies etc and got to unlearn so much after listening to the different point of views on your podcast and even the videos where you discussed events from the past. Your podcasts have helped reshape so much in a better way. Seeing the comments I can tell I wasn't the only one. If nothing else then this should be your reason to keep going. You've clearly made a difference hence why the trolls are uncomfortable. Wishing you more success with this podcast and everything else you do! Congratulations 😊
Shehzad neevein- neevein reh k chalo. U r doing an excellent job. And I guess you should not read comments if too much irrationality and pathogenic text is there. I hope you remain healthy and safe. All the best man.. great decision. Having kids is a very selfish decision but it is also probably the most “purpose” / “meaning” generating thing in life. I am a relatively recent father - and there is nothing like it. I agree with the arguments that kids didn’t have the choice so in some ways, it is selfish. Well, humans are selfish.
Congrats to shehzad for achieving this milestone of 2 lac subscribers. Dont agree with h🎉is leftist views and criticism of india and comparison with pakistan when the state of pakistan is for everyone to see. But credit where its due.
Congratulations Shehzad Ghias for completing 200k followers however, completing this milestone comes with more responsibilities as at this stage, followers force and try to impose their personal opinions on the content creator and the content creator comes under influenced to keep his followers. I hope this will not be the case with you. About the COVID-related talk, I would like to share my experience. I had 8 to 10 times covid although I am vaccinated almost 4 to 5 times with every kind of vaccine. While friends of mine who never got any vaccine at all have no COVID for a single time. This made me suspicious of the reliability of the vaccine as I am extra careful, use masks always keep my distance, and have a hygienic lifestyle while people who didn't follow any such thing not have COVID for a single time.

Ok I'm glad you read comments because I wanted to tell you that it sucks that very few people understand the value of your tremendous work. As someone who does I want to thank you so much for doing this
❤️
I loved the Euro trip part. The guest got a good pair of ears. She was listening to shehzad and was actively asking questions. Loved her attitude. Amazing podcast. Love you shezad ghias.
❤️❤️
❤️
Congratulations on the subs, I always thought difference of opinion was supposed to be a beautiful thing, why as Muslims have we forgotten this? Anyway keep up the good work.
I am a huge admirer of your work from India.I have learnt a lot about history and different perspectives through your work........neverr would've come to know the array of amazing people otherwise.
❤️
❤️🙌
Thank you
I've seen almost all your podcasts, it did keep me updated about some major issues that exist in Pakistan, i had no idea about them because no one ever talked about it.
You've also helped me in viewing democracy and politicians from a different lens, and somehow restored my faith in it.
Nothing is more important than one's mental health, wish you good health, God bless.
❤️
Dear Shehzad,
Congratulations on reaching 200,000 subscribers!
Best regards,
Dr. Umer Saeed Haroon

You should be ashamed of yourself Mr. Umer Saeed, you have left your country in the hands of pimps.

Salam. I discovered your podcast through Muzammil the journalist.
After getting to know both of you guys for more than a year now I can't seem to watch to Muzammil's videos. But I still listen to you Shehzad despite all the disagreements and criticisms I have.
You seem like a good person with imperfections just like me or anyone else.
The way you combine facts with humour and genuine concern is unique. I can relate to you because I have friends like you.
I really hope you find success in this world and the next.

The only podcast that gives space to opposing points of view. I think you have done great and it's very mature of you to think to end this. It shows your honesty with your ideology and not being part of the content bandwagon.

Loving your account of the European tour. Not usually a fan of listening to travel tales, but this was very interesting.

❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Hey shezad!!! Thanks for coming out with another episode of my favourite study jam❤
But on a more serious note, thanks for bringing sanity and empathy to this insane social media landscape and breaking it all down into such easily understandable language.... Keep working hard and don't give a damn about trolls

Congratulations on reaching 200k. Have been listening to your podcast since you had about 50k subscribers. Listening to you has been very enlightening.
Would love it if you could bring some authors to your podcast. Pakistan has so many good writers.

Have been listening to you for some years, being someone who might not agree with u on many things but i still enjoy and have learned about pak and its political dynamics from you, i donno but i dont thing anything is worth your mental peace so you decide to end this or completly change this channel's direction i will completly respect and support your decision

Hi Shehzad
It'll be great if you can do a video on how you _yourself_ changed in last 10-12 years from an Imran Khan supporter to your current nuanced understanding.
What were the significant breaking points which changed your view (it must've happened slowly)
Like I mentioned 2014ish was a breaking point, wasn’t a slow change over a decade

1:26:11 Shehzad, you need a virtual assistant at this point now. I have been working professionally as an online assistant for the past 13 years for people in the US facing similar situations. I would have loved to volunteer my time, but I am at the stage in life where I am giving one final push to make big bucks.
But you should think about getting someone, maybe someone from the audience that could volunteer, someone who could sort, remove, and prioritize social interactions, keeps cleaning yt comments , and helps keep a calendar for you.

Having kids is a very selfish decision but it is also probably the most “purpose” / “meaning” generating thing in life. I am a relatively recent father - and there is nothing like it.
I agree with the arguments that kids didn’t have the choice so in some ways, it is selfish. Well, humans are selfish.
