Sajid Mir one of the key architect's of 26/11 Mumbai attacks visited India as a cricket fan during one of the series in mid-2000's. So! their are indeed legtimate and genuine concerns of Indian govt in giving visas to Pakistani's.
Unless Pakistan gives up its policy of sponsoring and abetting terrorism against India relations between the two countries will never improve. It's just the way it is!

Blood thirsty extremism and hatred is in the DNA of every Pakistani. There is nothing anybody can do. India should keep visas at an extreme minimum to Pakistanis with the goal of zero. Absolutely no chance for terrorists and other trouble makers. India should have built a wall with additional land mines along the entire boundary with Pakistan.and bangladesh. It should have started 8n 1948.
Regarding the Tipu remarks.
Am from Kerala (Neighbouring state of Karnataka) and our history tells about forceful conversions & temple destructions by Tipu in northern Kerala thus Tipu is a villan here for Kerala Hindus.
They are more likely to follow what suites their narrative, and they are less likely to change their mind "sign of a weak and dumb" person, well the podcaster and the guests are knowledgeable but somehow they miss the point when it comes to understanding HIndus and other religion for them.

Captivity of Mangalorean Catholics at Seringapatam (1784-1799) was a 15-year imprisonment of Mangalorean Catholics and other Christians at Seringapatam, in the Carnataca region of India by Tippu Sultan, the de facto ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore. Estimates of the number of captives range from 30,000 to 80,000 but the generally accepted figure is 60,000, as stated by Tipu in the Sultan-ul-Tawarikh. The captivity was the most disconsolate period in the community's history.
The Mangalorean Catholic community in Mangalore flourished during the regime of Tipu's father, Hyder Ali. Soon after Tipu inherited the territory in January 1784, he issued orders to seize the Christians in Canara, confiscate their estates, and deport them to Seringapatam. His orders were carried out on 24 February 1784. Twenty thousand Christians died during the journey from South Canara to Seringapatam. The Christians of Canara suffered extreme hardships, torture, and executions. Many converted in captivity to Sunni Islam as practiced by the Ottoman Caliphate, whose approval and assistance was sought by Tippu Sultan. The captivity brought the once flourishing Christian community in Mangalore close to extermination. It ended when Tippu was killed on 4 May 1799 at the Siege of Seringapatam, led by the English East India Company and its Indian allies. Of the 60,000-80,000 Christians taken captive, only 15,000-20,000 both survived and retained their original faith. The captivity left an impact on the literature of Mangalorean Catholics. The bi-centennial anniversary of the Christians' release from captivity was commemorated across the South Canara area on 4 May, 1999.

Indian Hindu - Muslim conflict has been there for ages but it has found a way to coexist ,if not India would not have been the same India which you see on the map.
Many of Pakistanis and West have predicted that India will break down,does that happened - no.

For instance, what percentage of famous Pakistani entertainers, sportsmen, movie stars, politicians, singers, businessmen are hindu? For a single person to become a Shah Rukh Khan, millions like him had to have the opportunity to try and fail and grow. And we have thousands like that, in all fields. Azim Premji in business, APJ Abdul Kalam in science (also president of india) Irfan Pathan/Sania Mirza in sports...and I don't think I need to name the plethora of Muslim actors and singers in Indian film industry. And for each one that was hyper successful there were hundreds and thousands that tried and gained some success, but not enough to become household names. How many Hindus, by comparison, are household names in Pakistan? Maybe there are many and i simply don't know of them. I'd love to learn about it, if so.

Listening from India, the discussion on Pakistani infrastructure issue is like what we had in India in the 1980s. India has come such a long way, Pakistan seems to be stuck in history.
Whatever their leaders narrated in the early days of pakistan in UN and then kept chanting the same thing over and over again.. thats what the new generation, and these so called liberals believe in.
True there are issues no doubt. But upto 2006 the per capita GDP of Pakistan was higher then India... and also now in Indian provinces like UP and Bihar (which have huuuge populations) it is lower. Again not saying that there are no challenges in PK, but so HAS and HAD India

Greetings from India! I've been a silent viewer of your videos for a while (not a subscriber yet 😄). It's refreshing to hear a reasoned voice from the other side of the border. Your insights on India and its changing perspective towards Pakistan resonated with me.
The shift in India's mentality towards Pakistan has a particular reason. Growing up, we encountered warnings like "Immediately inform the police if you notice any suspicious object beneath your seat" due to the constant fear of bomb blasts, especially after events like the Parliament attack and the tragic 26/11 Mumbai attack. The frustration reached a point where people were ready for decisive action.
While our schools taught us values of harmony and no hatred, the harsh reality differed. The realization that we are on our own, with no external support in times of conflict, deeply ingrains in our psyche. The recent incidents during the World Cup were unfortunate, but they reflect the forced shift in our mindset.
Many of us, including myself, who initially supported causes like building hospitals or schools over the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, have witnessed a change in perspective over time. This transformation is widespread among the youth who have grown up amidst such experiences.
Contrary to misconceptions, it's not about a narrative or jingoism. It's a reflection of the evolving India of the coming centuries. The curiosity of today's youth to explore religion, culture, and history is unprecedented. You'll find many young people visiting religious sites.
While some might label it as fanaticism or RSS ideology, it's the new face of India. The young generation seeks a connection with their roots. Despite the challenges, there's trust that India won't tread the same path as Pakistan. Our institutions remain strong and unbiased.
