What a load of bollocks I bet most carp caught are on popups and they ain't straight out the freezer. Nash cultured boilies are superb off the shelf. Freezer bait texture is great but shelf life boilies have come on leaps and bounds in the last decade Lee jackson is living in the past with that view although I'm not denying his wealth of experience and exceptional fish catches
Confidence in fresh bait but then sling out the most important bait of all as a corkball pop up that has effectively had fresh paste air dried to a crisp and I don't think theres many big carp that haven't been nailed off one. I seem to remember that lee also favours his secret yellow pop ups and every article I have read with him, always wondered whether they were fresh milk protein pop ups. Alot of the best are all at it with special hookbaits but are they made with ingredients that carry a short usage life or cremated in a microwave, air dried or simply made in a way that going off after a period is part of their make up to keep them effective in the short term
Hi, Great Vid. I am fishing a lake in France, next year with some friends And they only allow fresh baits. Any frozen boilies I take are going to defrost on the journey over. would I be better buying them in France.? but not knowing the lingo that could be fun. One last thing how long can you freeze boilies in the freezer before they start to go off? Cheers Mark
