I listened to this on podcast and immediately after sought out running programs that I could do. I love the one you are offering and will sign up for that after fixing a few issues. This brings me to a question. On the podcast regarding foundations, you mentioned that you had extreme trauma to hip where you needed major operations with metal parts implanted. Yet, you kept working out , lifting, etc to get back to a squat and deadlift. This is confusing me because there is one camp that says you should rest your injury so that it does not inflame further and another camp that says “plough” through the pain and it will resolve on its own. I have had to basically quit organized cross fit because of frozen shoulder and a knee that is acting up after possibly pulling something playing tennis. I felt all I was doing was coming in and looking for modifications to every single element. Hence , also , not starting a running program until this knee is healed.
My question to both of you is: When is it acceptable to you to push through injuries and through the pain (I am all for that) and hope it does not get worse and when is it better to throttle back in order to fully heal?
I listen to 95% of your podcasts, even though I am not a member anymore after 7 years. Listening to you guys keeps me motivated to do stuff on my own. I have the equipment, I just need motivation , which you fuel with your podcasts. Thank you.

Great show. Question for Boz: We have "what's rich doing" programming, when can we expect a "what's Boz listening to" playlist on Spotify?

Love the show, the info and especially how you both present if.
So, on an earlier episode about stretching & flexibility you said you never seen anyone make remarkable improvements.
How about same question with cardio capabilities? You feel the potential for significant improvement exists for someone (myself) in above average condition?
    Thanks
