Yesterday I had one of the most scary experiences of my life while listening to this album. It was all smokey outside from wildfires and I decided to go on a walk late at night. Extra creepy. Like if you were in a 90s movie, and you are collecting those moments of growing up hanging out with your friends of the people you've fallen in love with, or that broke your heart or made you feel special just for a very short but memorable while; or how much you are in need of making new and unforgettable memories (positive and negative) with someone new. Or that person you have a crush on, watching them smile as the wind blows right before the sunset, specially when the "what would you do if you weren't afraid?" part kicks in, like it's desperately telling you to go for it, to not waste your chance because the feelings are truly mutual. Yes, i know i'm a loser but that's how i've been feeling since it came out. Already an instant classic to me.
I've been addicted to the song for the very same feelings you are expressing. Makes me want to go to a bridge at night, Golden Gate bridge to be precise since I live in the Bay. And think about what my life will become in the near distant future. I'll probably do that soon.
I’m letting it all in and it’s taking absolutely everything from me. Every single new track has been a masterpiece so I can’t even imagine what the entire album is going to bring. Much love from the US
I've recently lost a beloved relative to coronavirus, and things like Loathe, Sleep Token, Dayseeker and the like have been helping me cope, by a huge amount. Even the album's title resonates with me greatly here, we literally "let it in" and "it took everything" - the person was elderly and was housebound, and yet we still managed to "let it in and it took everything". Fuck this pandemic. Fuck the virus. Stay strong.
Hauntingly accurate take on the title of this song. I hope you’ve found peace in your loss and are doing well. I’m happy to know you found a way to make peace with everything through music. Ik this comment is late, I just never thought how different we can experience music
God this takes me back. My friend Julie and I used to go on late night drives in the county, Deftones and Portishead playing on the stereo. Suddenly I was 17 again.
i just into the band and man this song has this ambient that i think i won´t be tired of it in a long time. my mom passed away and somehow the song reminds me of my mother specially on the minute 3:07 that moment i feel i´m with her closing my eyes and i imagine she´s watching me and lost of reflection moments on that part. one of the best songs so far in this fucked up year. i loved it. thank you so much!!
I hope you are doing well and if you haven’t already I recommend checking out “is it really you?” And “a sad cartoon” those have a similar feel and a ton of emotion into them.
This is one of the few modern bands that really created something new and refreshing but also a homage to older bands. This is one of the best modern rock/metal songs ive ever heard.
Anything that reminds me of deftones is solid gold. You don't headbang, you sway... If this band had their version of a Minerva track, this is it. 10/10
I knew this song would mean a lot to me when I first heard it. It gives me hope in myself maybe not entirely but it’s a start. Something to keep going for awhile (not to sound corny).
I heard on my Spotify’s liked playlist “is it really you” and immediately listened to other songs and loved them. So I have another band to binge listen 🎧 to!
I heard this on Spotify randomly, I swore I thought it was Chino Moreno featuring in Loathe, I thought Loathe was just another of his bands. Wow, this guy gets the gold crown for sounding like Chino Moreno. Good to know he's as much of a fan as I am.
It's crazy seeing all the mixed reviews for The Cold Sun when it released a few years ago. I remember so many critics were biased towards basing this band for the exploration of their sound. Honestly I cant express how impressive they have become since the e.p. just by exploring multiple styles.
This is an album that will end up having such a profound impact that you will remember when, where, who you were with and the emotions that surrounded that moment you first listened to it. This is and unbelievable album!
The variation in each single (so far) makes me think that this album is gonna be one crazy emotional journey. Love the softer Deftones vibes of this one. Really hyped to hear the whole album. :D
I’m so in love with his song. So nostalgic, Angelic, emotional, and over all perfect. This is the pinnacle of metal. If heartbreak was a song, it would be this
This song is extremely beautiful. Everything from the harmonies to the lyrics to structure. It almost feels like letting go of who you were and becoming someone new. The guitar is probably my fav part of this song. The chords line up in a beautiful but weird way. It meld together. Reminds me of an orchestra. Amazing job at making this and I should probably listen to more of what you make. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be happy to hear.

Nah, this is a really good interpretation of how this song feels. I relate!
I've been addicted to the song for the very same feelings you are expressing. Makes me want to go to a bridge at night, Golden Gate bridge to be precise since I live in the Bay. And think about what my life will become in the near distant future. I'll probably do that soon.
couldn't have said it better.
Not often do you stumble upon something this special.
listening to this song is what it feels like to just accept things for what they are
I’m letting it all in and it’s taking absolutely everything from me. Every single new track has been a masterpiece so I can’t even imagine what the entire album is going to bring. Much love from the US
so much love from Russia, bro!!
Vic Leal US to 🤘
This band is one of the best things happened to heavy music in the last decade
Loathe is a confusing band, and I love it.
Stay strong.

damn son that's rough. I hope you're doing well these days!
Love the diversity Loathe brings to the table. They're setting the bar extremely high
Each song gets me more excited to experience the beauty and creativity from this upcoming album.
Everyone sounds like 90's now and I freaking love it!!! Sounds like Deftones wrote it themselves.
So that means we can stop with the 80's synth sound?

This song is so beautiful that I’m about to cry
The kind of song that makes your eyes widen and your heart race the moment it hits.
i just into the band and man this song has this ambient that i think i won´t be tired of it in a long time. my mom passed away and somehow the song reminds me of my mother specially on the minute 3:07 that moment i feel i´m with her closing my eyes and i imagine she´s watching me and lost of reflection moments on that part. one of the best songs so far in this fucked up year. i loved it. thank you so much!!
I hope you are doing well and if you haven’t already I recommend checking out “is it really you?” And “a sad cartoon” those have a similar feel and a ton of emotion into them.
Johnny Swallows thanks bro! yeah you’re right it gives sorta the same feeling but this song is pure gold! cheers!
send lots of hugs for you bro!
@@blackdevy7 thank you bro!
Stay strong dude
2019 was Sleep Token’s year.
2020 without a doubt belongs to Loathe.
These guys can do anything.
Nick Najduk truuuuuu. They need to do a full US tour together.
The UK is killing the game with metalcore bands recently, lotus eater too
Loathe, Lotus Eater, God Complex...the UK holy trinity.
first time I saw Loathe live Sleep Token were the support, breathtaking show
@@lew0013 us Aussies are killing it also
Deftones vibes. This album is gonna be massive
Craig Taylor-Broad yeah dude!

This is one of the few modern bands that really created something new and refreshing but also a homage to older bands. This is one of the best modern rock/metal songs ive ever heard.
This song still comes back to me randomly. It really is a gorgeous track. Something about it stays with you forever
Anything that reminds me of deftones is solid gold. You don't headbang, you sway... If this band had their version of a Minerva track, this is it. 10/10
absolutely
Yes, I love this era when bands can finally do whatever the fuck they want
My GOD. This has some really good Deftones vibes in it. Loved it.
@A_Better_Bridge ___ Haha. Nice! These guys deserve it :D
i heard that too
Every few months, I like to hear this song to remind myself that there's still amazing music being made today. Thank you, Loathe! :-)
I knew this song would mean a lot to me when I first heard it. It gives me hope in myself maybe not entirely but it’s a start. Something to keep going for awhile (not to sound corny).
normalize looking within and finding positivity
The drums on this song are mixed unbelievably well. Hat's off to the engineer for sure.
Not what I was expecting at all, but I couldn’t be happier
So when are you collaborating with Chino Moreno?
Ikr
Chino just shared this track on Twitter 👌🤘
it needs to happen this year.
Don't need to. You wouldn't be able to hear the difference haha. In a good way
This is better than what Chino has been doing since the last couple of years.
This the kind of song you hear again after a few months or years and then you remember all the memories tied to that song.
It's crazy seeing all the mixed reviews for The Cold Sun when it released a few years ago. I remember so many critics were biased towards basing this band for the exploration of their sound. Honestly I cant express how impressive they have become since the e.p. just by exploring multiple styles.
Loathe is quickly becoming my new favorite band...
No idea how anyone hates on these guys. They have something special and need to be on everyone’s radar.
Heard these guys for the First Time Live and remembered the Entire Set, Thankyou for Opening for Korn in Australia!
Love their heavy shit these guys are in a league of their own. This album is a turning point in metal history.
This song sounds so different, which makes me even more excited for their new album!
Evan Chiang I think the album will be very colorful
This is an album that will end up having such a profound impact that you will remember when, where, who you were with and the emotions that surrounded that moment you first listened to it. This is and unbelievable album!
I'm getting goosebumps. What a masterpiece.
Sounds theatrical. Incredible. Large. Bombastic. Swagger. Watching the sunset after a good fight.
If heartbreak was a song, it would be this
i'm proud of myself for finding this band, currently on repeat!!!!
This is one of those songs you'd like to hear for the first time again
This is one of the most wonderful things I’ve heard in my entire life.
I feel Whirr influences here, what good song, deep af.
This sounds amazing. I really do love the unclean vocals that Kadeem does. But this sounds so beautiful that I want to discover it again.
This song brings back everything from ‘07, when I was skating with my friends, sunset cruisin’. This song man... it has me tearing up. Same with “Is It Really You?”. Thank you Loathe.
I nominate this as my go to song to listen to while I’m high.
This band never fails to impress The Atmosphere this song creates is brilliant!
Everything about this band is pure bliss
Truth is I didnt deserve this. Not this soon. I love loathe. Love their sound.
I was listening to a Deftones radio and this came up and I’m obesseddddddd
