I cover my bike nightly with this cover. Apartment Living, no choice at the moment!!! I wait about 20 minutes to let bike cool, and then cover it. Usually wiping it down with a micro fiber towel first after the ride. The rain season has hit, and the cover keeps my bike dry, and is also, comforting to know the bike is covered out of the baking Sun too!
NO LOGOS, BLAND is GOOD !!!....... Keep bike covered, out sight, out of mind. If it said Harley on the Cover, the thieves would hone in ! I like the product and satisfied 100%. Living in apartment complex owning a Motorcycle, can be an anxiety creator. But with full coverage insurance, and covering bike, knowing it isn't directly in the elements, or plain veiw, gives you some peace of mind.
Great review, great product, thanks Dan !
If it's about bikes it Cool..... Motorcycles are like a drug, ya Love them and everything about them ! Get bit with the bug, get a Motorcycle, if you don't have one, drive safe, NO squid moves, protective gear always, and you'll love it !
***ALL ABOUT MOTORCYCLES IS BOSS ! ***
I wouldn’t give a cover any rating until it’s withstood a year or so of brutal Arizona sun. At less than $35 I’d bet $100 or more that in about a year’s time of outdoor use in the fully exposed Arizona elements, it’ll tear like tissue paper. Not being critical but it’s a little optimistic to rate it in less than a year’s time.
I hear the velmia cover is one of the best covers. Check them out if you haven't by now. It's also on Amazon. I'm ordering one today.
How small does it pack up? Great Review And Thanks For Sharing My Friend!
Hey! I love the channel and have loved watching all the videos. I have this cover as well for my Nightster. My experience with it is that it is way too large for the bike and maybe its just windier up in Phoenix, but both straps broke due to wind and now the cover blows off too often, so Im in the market for different one. It does do well to keep the bike dry though!
for $20.00 you really can't go wrong with this & price. nice review brother!
I do have some questions sir, I hope you can answer them. Thank you.
1. Is it okay for a motorcycle to be left unwashed after it got wet by rain?
2. When should I clean/wash my motorcycle? (Is it every week? Is it every time it got rained on? Something like that...)
Hoping for your response, more power and may Odin bless you sir.
A Little late but I hope my response helps
1.Nope it's out OK to leave a bike unwashed after the rain.. Reason being is water gets in certain parts n may start causing rust n all where u don't want it to. So it's always good to dry the bike after or just give it a wash n wipe it down..
2. You should wash your bike as often as its ridden (once a week is a good sweet spot). For me, I ride my bike every day, and I try wash it every weekend. If I can't wash it then I give it a wipe down
This cover can be easily fold to be putted away in a sport back bike compartment,?
How's it now? Did it also stain your motorcycle silver? I had a similar one that just ripped after just over 2 months.
Thanks .....
I have this exact cover for my WR250R. Best $20 Ive spent in a long time.
How is it holding up now? Mine tore up
@@ParadiseBiker Mine is still going strong. It's faded from the sun, but otherwise its fine.
Mine tore up within a couple months (wind n sharp motorcycle parts caused it)
I would like your estimation as to how a cover adds to security.
My thought is that what the eye can't see, it can't want.
Kinda like blackout windows on a car.
Your thoughts?
Is nordcap cover good cover .?
Anyone know what mirrors he has, and/or has a link to where i could get them? they look amazing and functional at the same time!! (:
Nice cover. Looks like it works pretty good.
As for the pain in the ass factor of having to wait for the exhaust to cool off... Comes down to how much is that hassle worth? Some more expensive covers $70+ come with a heat resistant material along the bottom for the exhaust.
I bought a Nelson-Rigg Falcon Defender 2000 Cover for $100.00 CDN ($79.00 USD) and I can put it on immediately without issue(Heat resistant strip along the bottom). Does essentially the same as yours. Looks a bit thicker and heavy duty, but waterproof/weatherproof none the less. Also has vents to allow any condensation under the cover to evaporate.
Maybe keep an eye out for any sales, maybe you can get lucky and snag it for 50$. That's if you get sick of waiting on the exhaust :P
I’m going to be traveling out to Colorado then Sturgis from New Orleans on my 2016 HD wide glide. Does the cover pack down small for packing? I have a windshield so what size should I order
Bit of a late response, but on the Dowco website, you can search by bike model. I think the size L should work for you though.
Thank you. I know what you mean, Apparently I’m from tucson too. Be careful since someone stole one of my other motorcycle last month
+Art Natividad holy crap!
looks like it is kind of a light weight cover, I am not purchasing as a sun cover. I am purchasing as cover for a scooter for protection from storms. I don't have a place to store it, except outside (not even a shed). I ordered this cover, but I also ordered a heavy duty standard tarp to put over as well, if a heavy rain/wind storm is coming. It's not an expensive scooter, but I am worried more about the electrical components taking on heavy water.
Can you explain to me how you get your voice through to your gopro?
He used a gopro mic adapter
Lol I bought the same hehe!
3 mo in the extreme California summer heat and it would be trashed. Mine lasted 3 months and it was crispy dry and tearing.
I would not expect it to last for long considering its only $20 ... I mean really a $20 cover ... only an IDIOT would think this would last years ..
Why didn't you show applying it on ?
Lots of poor reviews on Amazon if you look at the questions and the newest comments. People are saying this thing rips easy.
EXACTLY! Mine tore up within a couple months. I wouldn't recommend, but for the price I guess it's ok
So if I use your "support link" and then search the cover once on Amazon, you get a cut? I have a Ninja 636, you think it'll fit?
Yup to both questions. I bought a bigger one recently though amzn.to/2TWz4SW
He gets a cut of ALL the amazon links he gives you ... ALL OF THEM ...
Do you think he is giving you these links for his health ..?? NO
I hear you. Getting a "cut" means it may be a biased review. Also, the build quality was not addressed in the video.
@@robbidi123 I wouldn't mind him getting paid for providing honest info, but I have gone through 5 bike covers and I kept getting water in my tank. I'd remove the cover the morning after a downpour to find water all over the bike. I am beginning to think that I'll have to spend $100+ to actually get quality but I really don't understand why. It current I am using my 2 most recent covers together, and STILL there is moisture on the bike. Perhaps my bike is habitually hitting the gym as I sleep🤷🏿♂️
@@Karter315 Sounds like you're having a rough go of it. I just did some reviews, and just went with an Amazon Basics cover. All reviews said is a durable product that is light years better the previous covers they've worn through. I bought the Sport model, which should fit my 2016 Z1000 for $25 w/free shipping
Magkano
Weird seeing you without a beard
Sounds like a scratchfest
its garbage read the amazon reviews not waterproof
It tends to sweat, and tears veeery easily
