I did the same thing to make a Coop Scout. Metal tape is a nice touch but I use cement. I used the Ultradyne metal sights. Well worth the investment. I had a scope on but just use those sights as they are extremely accurate depending on your eyesight for irons. The front end weight is a little off. Maybe put a PA4X or 5X on? $500 rifle, $150 Irons. $30 Block. Flitz on the bolt $5. Bolt knob $10 on Amazon.. The rifle is more accurate than my dad’s predator and all the work he had done on it $1200 ish plus his optic and mounts. Nice concept and set up🏆

Wonder if this would work on the ruger american predator green stocked .308 rifle
use A red dot or scope
I have had both of those on the rifle, but I just like Iron sights better for under 100 yds.
