They get you with the pricey ammo !!
No, they are not the government making you spend you money, it's your choice to upgrade or not. Quit blaming the world because it doesn't cater to you. Start a business some day so you can see how it feels to hear people say you aren't worth it, whatever you are doing, you aren't worth it. Just move on, don't buy it then, don't blame others because you don't make enough money in life, you need to complain about how others make their money. They are offering to help keep you safe, not important to you? Just don't buy it then. I personally love all the non lethal options we have today when everyone thinks a bullet is the answer to every situation, these guys are making the world a better place, for a small fee.
Good luck.
@@Billfish57 You must be fun at parties
The Bhut Jolokia or Ghost 👻 Pepper is what the Police in India use for crowd control.
Love your videos brother.
2021~ you cant even get these anymore.
So my question is witch one is the best for self defense I was waiting to see you compair all 3
Thats a simple and complex question to answer. Will you be carrying it everyday or will it be for home defense? There are pros and cons to these devices. Its not about which device is best to buy, its about which device fits your needs in any given situation. If you stick around i will give my thoughts on that some time in future. what i can say is NEVER shoot PepperBall projectiles inside the home.
I'm a new subscriber and a new owner of the Bryna HD, I was wanting to know if you could fire those Grinburg rounds with the HD and do you think it's possible to turn up the velocity with the screw located at the rear of the HD, thanks I love your vids and love waiting on you to drop new material cause they've all been very informative and entertaining, awesome job.
Ultimate Droner HD doesn’t have adjustable regulator , so velocity is none adjustable as far i can tell. As far the screw in back I’ll try get answer for that because I’m curious just as you. Grimburg has new projectile called JUL. I have video in my playlist for Byrna HD check it out. Unfortunately Grimburg HP-68 is not compatible with HD.
@@dudelesslethal6910 most of the grimburg rounds constitute per se deadly force- any round that has metal in it is not considered "less lethal" as the general rule.

How do these Byrna HD compare to Pepperball Live or Live-X?
Bynra 12% chemical agent including tear gas (CS). Live X 5% chemical agent Pava no tear gas. Live x and Max both strong.
Hi can you send me one
can the max projectiles and co2 cartridge be loaded and then launcher be left in a drawer just in case it’s needed. How long before either degrades or expires or would need replaced ?
Michael T Yes you can load it and leave it. It will not puncture Co2 cartridge unless you pull trigger.
@@dudelesslethal6910 do you know if I can simply use the CO² cartridges from like Walmart? Thinking about calling this in places where I can't carry a true firearm.
@@risteelongtran3506 i haven’t tried using other brand name 8gram co2 In byrna.
If the CO2 is unpunctured by use, it's said to be good indefinitely. The rounds, though, have an expiration, varying by formula. Salt Supply says theirs are good for five years, but other brands may expire much sooner.
How much is this? Seems to me if its same price range as first strike fsc or t8.1,t9.1 i would just go with those. More options and you can turn up velocity
Those byrna max projectiles would be nice if they would break on impact when hitting a person instead of a board
Sure, but I ask for a ball cap after buying my byrna, well, no way can we do that, just no way.
Check out bear spray. Less than $40 and can knock a bear on it's ass. A LOT more powerful than mace or pepper spray.
Just be mindful of the fact that it's made for outdoors and will fill your house with the irritant.
@PACOIMARACER Lol. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Punk kid.
Byrna is a great design but with all the malfunction and poor customer service I can’t recommend it. Maybe try Mission TPR LESS LETHAL or I recommend MCS-Modern Combat Sports AR15 style pepper-ball launchers instead. With a 20 round projectile capacity magazine or a 190 capacity projectile box magazine...
I need one how can l buy?
Huge wait times, bad ammo and the WORST customer service. These are only a few things you get with a Byrna system. Avoid this company.
I bought two Byrna HD's and took them to a local shooting range to test them. The range master would not allow me to shoot either the kinetic or the inert rounds inside, but did allow me to shoot them outside on their archery range against archery targets. Shooting the inert rounds at the archery targets, none broke on impact. The rounds did, however, break when shot at a hard target like a sign or a tree. This raised serious concerns for me about their reliability if it was necessary to shoot them at an assailant. While I understand the round can be shot at the ground or at another hard object in close proximity to an assailant, the fact is the round are supposed to be able to break on impact against the human body. What raised more concerns is the fact that all of the Byrna videos demo the inert rounds impacting plywood, wooden fencing and road signs. I contact Byrna several times to inquire if they'd had any problems with the inert or live rounds failing to break against soft targets (like an assailant's chest). The said they had not and that the rounds had been successfully test numerous times. I've not seen those test videos. I also asked if the Byrna can be tuned to a higher velocity - assuming this might be an issue (they apparently shoot in the mid 200 fps range, whereas the Pepperball TCP and Salt gun shoot at over 300 fps. I noted the name of the person from Byrna that responded to my email was "Johny Byrna." It's sad when a company rep has to use a comical alias to respond to a serious inquiry. Anyone else had similar issues?
Bonjour! Est-il possible de l'importer en France?!? Si oui où svp! Je serais très intéressé! Merci d'avance
Ps: je ne parle pas anglais :(
Love my orange Byrna but best to ebay ammo and CO2. Cost effective alternatives...
You ever heard of BLACK MARKERS !!
How are you able to get items from Byrna so quickly? I ordered a Byrna HD in black and after waiting 3 weeks for it to ship, I cancelled my order. This company is very unreliable. I emailed them 3 times concerning my order and all I got was the run around.
I’m not in California I’m in east cost.
How can you guarantee they are if you’ve never taken me to the face?
Who will allow me to be a suppler or dealer in less lethal weapons? Byrna does not offer good pricing.
You will need to reach out to the manufacturers directly.
Effective non-lethal weapon
I just got mine and I'm really happy with it, but man!, the ammo is pricey!!
Carl Lane 👍 make sure you test fire it.what color?
@@dudelesslethal6910 I got black
Well kinetic projectiles are cheap and u can re-use them. And the pepper balls you only need 5 or 10 at the most for home defense.
How much does the discount code save ?
@@nodster7778 it wasn’t much I think it was $20 or so? Not 100% but I remember it wasn’t much.
I bought 90 rounds of hd max last month only took 2 weeks to receive. Still waiting on launchers im on month 3 now,
Wasfast getting closer👍
It took close to 5 mos, June - Nov 2020, to receive my launcher, and the extra magazines are still on backorder
I bought the Byrna max and I am on the 10+ week waiting list but from the web page it only has oc, cs but not the pava, I understand you said not released yet but do you know of when they will be released?
stephan4490 its the same product. They must of updated the chemical agents or had typo on the product description.
DUDE LESS LETHAL ok, thank you
PAVA is basically the powder form of OC. PAVA is one of the capsaicinoids (the chemicals that cause heat) found in OC. These have OC and CS tear gas. Tear gas is more of a pain compliance tool that functions differently than OC but the combination of OC and CS is super potent and doesn't play. The CS component is a powder that rapidly gasses off into a gas vapor. This stuff will clear an entire area in seconds.
How do I order one?!!!!
Where did you get the knife from its BaddAss
Its KA BAR
Are these legal to conceal carry in Texas? I want to buy 2 but can't find anything about if its legal or not in Texas.
Yes but you cannot conceal carry at a park, courthouse or at any business that has a 51 percent sign I.e any business that’s sales of alcohol is over 51% of its business even if you have your conceal carry license.
@@stephan4490 That's good to know.
@@stephan4490 You're incorrect- the 51% sign / rule under Texas law- only applies to "Firearms" as defined by the ATF, as the statutory law specifically says "Firearm" but doesn't mention less-lethal. Therefore, under the rules of statutory interpretation, It does not apply to less-lethal. In Texas you can carry the Byrna any place you can carry pepper spray. Also the carry of weapons at a park was determined to be constitutionally protected in the case law here of recent- meaning that no state can prohibit concealed carry in public parks as a matter of second amendment law. These cases happened at the federal level (both 5th and 10th circuit decisions)- so it applies to all states.
Its also worth noting that Texas law requires that, in order to be valid, A 51% sign must be printed in at least one-inch-high BLOCK letters such that the color of the letters visibly contrasts with the background. The sign must also include “51%” printed in RED and at least FIVE INCHES high. The sign must also be in BOTH English and Spanish. If the sign doesn't fit the requirements the 51% rule is presumed not to apply to that business. As a general rule, more often than not, 51% signs screened on glass will be invalid due to the background requirement.
@@Harlem55 you are incorrect, I am a vehicle technician for law enforcement, I have asked this exact question when I bought mine and they fall under the same restrictions as pellet/bb guns, yes they are not a fire arm that is true but there is still restrictions.
@@stephan4490 whomever you talked to was wrong. The U.S. supreme court has said "Courts must presume that a legislature says in a statute what it means and means in a statute what it says there." Connecticut Nat'l Bank v. Germain, 112 S. Ct. 1146, 1149 (1992). The 51% statute only mentions "Firearm" it does NOT mention any other type of weapon. Thus, the statute is limited to Firearms under the plain meaning doctrine. So its a really simple game of "statute says". IF the statute doesn't "say" the police are without grounds to arrest, plain and simple.
Is it legal to carry in Texas
I don’t give legal advice. Please check with your local laws.
Damn I want one bad but that 8 week wait is terrible
12+ now
Would you recommend the Salt S1 pepper spray gun
Swisher Sweet Killer Yes it’s same maker of Mission TPR.
Thats awesome. I was hoping they would release steel reinforced kinetic rounds but this is incredible. They are great at keeping up with current trends and dominating the pepperball market! Good job. I subscribed and liked!
Spoiler Alert.. Send this guy Money and wait Forever,Folks.I ordered The "Practice " rounds and a Few Targets a Month ago & not even an email back from Byrna ,the Manufacturer. yet. 2-3 Month wait, at least on the Launcher Itself,, Ammo is Backordered as well SMH
This video is few months old, and this video was posted before Byrna had back order problems. As far as sending this guy money umm I just make UA-cam videos.
Yes you can turn up velocity on a ByrnaHD..the screw on the back increases velocity,.when you areshooting a PepperBall it must be a headshot or neck ,for maximum takedown. If you don’t do a headshot then don’t expect to stop an attacker...no headshot , no instant takedown.
Swami Van Dem Meer i took byrna HD apart and that screw has nothing to do with velocity, its timing for when the barrel incases the projectile and releases the co2 also moves the trigger back and forward for the adjustment🤦🏻♂️ its not for velocity.
@@dudelesslethal6910 Thanks, guess that’s the only way to find out. The BYRNA rep at online store must be misinformed, sorry
With pepperball and kinetic rounds, you must avoid the head, neck, throat, groin, and spine unless deadly force is authorized. Those areas are considered per se deadly force.
