A little surprised you don't do any indirect precaution. Not that your work is bad by any means. A simpler less effort way to achieve larger Flakes And greater accuracy. Keep up the great work. Aggitized Carls one of my favorite To work.
I love coral but like flint ridge, I have issues with the natural fractures. Dan (Pearl Yoder) definitely sells the best quality coral I’ve worked. That’s a beautiful piece with a great variety of color in one piece. Only four years of knapping??? You’re well ahead of the learning curve.
I get the feeling to truly appreciate your work outside of seeing it in person. I need to watch these videos on a decent-sized TV.
That’s not a bad idea!😂
You definitely have excelled in the art of knapping ,to have only started knapping four years ago. Enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the next.
Thanks so much. I’m thankful to have come as far as I have
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure

Beautiful piece! I thought that it was Flint Ridge from the thumb nail. Nice work!
Thank you very much!
I'd love to knap some of that coral .
I wish I had another piece like this one. It’s gorgeous

Look up Pearl Yoder or Chris Stricklett on Facebook
I wish I had someone good like you that was around me and willing to teach! I’m struggling

Thank you! Yes just a few years, but I try to take my time, work often, and figure out ways to get better. Haha I love flint ridge too, works grear
Rocket ship brother!!! Yeaaaaaahhhh
You know it!!
Any vids where you knap onondaga? I'm from niagara Canada
I’ve actually never tried onondaga but have seen others try it before. I’ll look around to see where I could get some
Is that a slab, or is it naturally formed that way?
Naturally formed, it was a spall from a larger coral boulder. Resembles a slab though lol
Please turn on close capition
I think in the settings you can turn it on yourself👍🏼
How do I get ahold of Dan Yoder to order some rock thank you😅
Million souls mine I believe
That’s it!
Your base is too thin and 😢weak. I will never hold up to use BUT IT is beautiful
That’s what I was going for! A thin art piece. It would make a good cutter but not a good spear
