Amy Carlson leads a group called Love Has Won. The web-savvy New Age outfit uses daily livestreams to recruit followers from around the world to join their house in Colorado.
While her followers believe she is a divine being, the group is facing accusations that it is a cult. Former members are alleging stories of abuse, fraud and brainwashing.
We hear from members and former members of the group to try and get to the bottom of it.

Generally eyes are removed during a mumification process, as eyes generally decompose before the skin, so it’s easier to just remove them and dry out everything else. It’s not usually scene in say Egypt’s mummies, but if you look at Andean mummies you will see this.

Human beings are a strange species. I just learned that when your fingers prune in the water it's not because your skin sucks up water but rather that your mind and nervous system physically morphs your body to have more grip, possibly for when people would gather berries and stuff in wet places and water. As someone who was abused and locked in the basement as a child it is one of the most emotionally traumatizing things you can go through to be left in the dark and unloved by the people who raised you. That child will have scars for the rest of their lives and I truly hope life is looking up for them because they deserve better than that.

Cults are similar to child predators that go after teens in the way the look for people in vulnerable positions. They want people who are feeling left out, those who feel lonely and like outcasts. The victims are love bombed in the beginning and promised a life without suffering.
I also wonder if these followers grew up with an alcoholic or fundamentalist-type mother - which could explain how they would accept "Mother God's" abusive and toxic (100proof) behavior. Some who grow up with parents like that continually seek acceptance from others who have those same traits and tendencies... and whew, if you throw that religious/spiritual (I mean, really what do you even call it, when it's a combo of "Trump is my dad" "I am Pele!" and "I am Jesus Christ"...) ego trip in with the general alcoholic ego insanity, you've got a pretty powerful "insane parent figure" to win over and gain acceptance from.

I use to speak to her a long time ago, before she became "Mothergod" she was with someone called Fatherwolf I think it was. Even then she was looking for followers. She went from male to male becoming more and more... out of reality. I was curious and kept track of her as she moved on from one male to another. Im glad to see someone is taking this seriously! I’d be very curious to know what their reasoning is for requiring payment for their services. Like wouldn’t mother just prove to everyone that she is real by healing the masses instead of the few that pay.

"Mother" very clearly had a severe case of narccisistic personality disorder, with markers of psychosis and the stock standard delusions of grandeur.
For whatever reason/event at 30 years old, caused her to suffer what is known as narccisistic collapse. The massive insecurities and extremely low self worth combined with some trigger event, led her mind to defensively concoct a delusional fantasy revolving around her as an almighty being, jesus reincarnate...this is to compensate for her true subconcious deepest belief- that she is, in actual fact, less than nothing, not even truly human, unlovable and worthless.
This, combined with the trademark arrested emotional development (manifested as immaturity and inability to develop true normal empathy) leads to her abusive treatment of others -the childish tantrums from low emotional intelligence, justified by the delusional concept that she is a higher being (ergo all her actions, abusive or not, are simply just "righteous", by definition)
After the narccisistic collapse in her 30s, (from whatever stressful event it might have been) suddenly (in her mind) being a mother and wife and MacDonalds manager wasn't glamorous enough, wasn't special enough, to hide/compensate for her (in her subconscious mind) absolute worthlessness.
She had to have the importance and specialness to (in her mind) reasonably demand that she deserves to be the center of the world- and convince others that this is true, aswell, so as to KEEP convincing herself with their aid.
(These people are known as "flying monkeys", carefully chosen victims who are, for one reason or other, more vulnerable to brainwashing techniques)
Her self-centred fanstasy is flimsy (because it is so false) and therefore requires the ongoing affirmation of others to prop it up.

Something that surprisingly wasn't covered in this video is that LHW was kicked off a Hawaiian island around six months ago. The locals banded together and harassed them off the island, unfortunately Crestone hasn't mustered a similar response.
