Most 74s I have seen in circulation are very beat up - so you would have to almost go to a seller to find one in excellent condition! One might get lucky and find one in circulation- that would be IMHO a rare find!

Being offered is a 1982 major error quarter that I and my collector friends consider the rarest of the rare. We searched for quarters on “eBay sold” and searched THOUSANDS of quarters dating back to the first Washington quarter in 1932 and we found none. Here is the reason why.
On the obverse when you zoom in on the right side of Washington, a mystifying and amazing occurrence awaits you. There is a distinct and clear image of a man clinging with his fingers holding on to Washington’s body!
We believe this is a one-in-a million quarter and the ONLY one in existence.
We are starting the bidding at $5,000 and we consider that to be CHEAP.
I have a 1974 without a mint mark also a 67 without a mint mark. I have a 82 DDO with a filled in D.

Hey DC, I noticed every time I break a dollar and get change back it seems I always get a 1965 quarter.I been putting them on the side because they are from the sixties (no real Value) but just save them.I been also getting 1964 nickels.This weird it just seems like someone is using change from an older persons change jar.I must have a couple dozen of each and still getting them.I watched a video somewhere before and they were talking about quarters that were a different metal content,I don't remember the year but they said they're worth a little,Do you know anything about those quarters?
