200 foot is a very long cast. 200/3=66.6 yards. I am watching Saturday college football on ESPN right now. All the college stadium football fields being played on are 100 yards which is 300 feet. I can tell you I probably myself have never made a 200 foot long cast like you made in your video. You made a heck of a cast. I hear lots of guys say they can cast 100 yards all day long, no problem. Well, I would really like to see a regular bass fishing combo, a 7-8 foot rod with and baitcaster and with whatever line hit that 300 foot mark. Excellent video. I hate your line broke.
People cast 200 ft often with heavy rigs and lures lol. But I've never seen a single person cast 300ft which js a football feild without the end zones lol.
I agree. I haven’t either. I have measured my average casts ( with a builders construction measuring tape in my front yard) to be 20-30 yards with 35 yards (105’ foot) being a crazy long cast. Spinnerbaits, crank baits, shakey heads, pitching to docks with jigs, how far do you need to cast to a largemouth bass? I can see trying to make monster long casts with deep diving crank baits on ledges to maximize the crank bait effectiveness. I have had the great fortune to share the boat with many big time professional bass fishermen as either a co-angler or marshal. I have never seen a pro make a monster long cast.
I bet it would of worked with a Daiwa shirt on.

with an armajoint? Challenge accepted. The rod Sam is using is a 7'8", so sub 8' rod, and the reel is actually only a 150 sized reel.
looks like theres going to be a banger combo and an armajoint up for sale in the demo tackle section soon...LoL

In God We Trust. All others submit data. haha. Can't argue with data.
I guess the answer is no, not even close
