Not trying to say the contract thing isn't real since I wouldn't really know and I can't think of any other film where he loses at anything or plays the villain to the point they had to make Black Adam an anti hero, but Moana does seem to qualify as a pretty glaring exception to the Gary Stue rule.

I love it how Tomar amuses himself with his impersonations, like he hasn't just slain an entire village by luring the villagers one by one with his voice, imitating their loved ones in peril, and pushing anyone who'd come to investigate into a pit of tar.
