Can classic car presentations get better than this?
Don't think so! Thank you Richard! So glad we got to meet up in 2019. :)
Richard…. It’s always a pleasure watching your top notch videos on these incredible automobiles on UA-cam
The Alfa Romeo cabriolet is the one for me. Thank you.
RICHARD MICHAEL , YOU GAVE US ASTOUNDING PLEASURE WITH YOUR PRESENTATIONS, CONGRATS, YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST
THANKS
Terrific Richard, great narrative and smooth camera work! Thanks so much!
Well done Richard , another fabulous presentation . Your passion and knowledge is obvious and very welcome . Thankyou .
A mildly interesting fact is that growing up in Australia in the sixties, going for a thrill ride, or even putting your foot down was known as "fanging it", or going for a "fang". This was slang derived from when Fangio raced in Australia in the Fifties. Even now the saying has survived with undoubtedly few people being aware of it's origins
Great photography . Appriciate the sharing of your knowledge and enthusiasmThanks Richard. Looks like your dog had a mimosa..lol
A wonderful coming together.
The Alfa D'este coupe is my favorite car of all time. Each one is just a little different.
I love and appreciate all your content Richard, especially your shop work and passion for the classics!
BTW, German silver or nickel silver is a type of brass: being an alloy of copper and nickel.
Detailed History comes too...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant work my DEAR.
Another great display of some fantastic automobiles. Thanks again for taking the time to present these cars.
That was so cool that you
Just great. Thanks so much.
Amazing , thank you for this great vid
Excellent reporting. Thank you!

Wonderful and marvelous!
Fab video, thanks for the dream tour
Thank you...awesome video!
Great work Richard, very enjoyable video. Agree that some are works of art. Being in Australia I will never have the opportunity to see these vehicles. Thanks.
Thanksssssssssssss for this video!!!!!!!! Amazing video. Great music too...
Excellent work as usual Richard, thank-you very much! 👏👏👏 Man, those were some beautiful cars. Really appreciate your informative narration. We can dream, can't we? 😊
Good video !
Thanks for sharing
Cheers
I like your choice of music, fits the high class cars !
Well done 😀
Great coverage and expert details of the cars
Your videos are "La crème de la crème" , just amazing 🙂
I continue to enjoy your narrative of such a run down!!! These cars are just Fantastic.... you just don't see them around!!!
Those are some serious looking cars
German Silver is a nickel and copper alloy that does not actually contain any of the element silver.
I liked this so much I'm happy to say, it was even better the second time. Well researched and presented by a truly passionate car guy. Thank you! I can only hope that the ultra rich who purchase these will share them with the world and not tuck them away in storage or their massive 'garage'. Stunning automotive art for sure. Hard to pick a favorite they are all stunning. Like you I'm a fan of the touring bodied Alfa 6c. Imagine wafting through northern Italy or the south of France in such a car.
Hey thanks for the feedback. I did another for RM's final amelia island sale ua-cam.com/video/c3yOJuYyoks/v-deo.html
Great video love the music
That 288 GTO held my attention. What an amazing modern car to sit so well alongside all of those all-time greats. Very hard to do!
Some Real works of Art Richard...... Simply Stunning Machinery........ Thank you for making me realise how Poor I am..... I probably could not afford the Catalogue... :-(.... But I am grateful to you for showing us this video.... I look forward to seeing your next one... :-)))
Well done video 👏👏
Thank you Richard 👌🍺🇬🇧
Bellisimo video
In the opening you state that the Daimler Cabriolet, Star of India, is made of silver......Sterling Silver.
05:16 you say it is made of German Silver.....an alloy comprised of copper, zinc, and nickel.....no silver........0% silver.
Also known as nickel silver, it has many applications, but it is silver only in colour.
Great video. Thanks so much.
Hey, wait a minute! We finally see Richard's boss at the very end of this video!
That's nice
Apparently no recession in the collector market. RMO - you swept by one of my favorite Ferrari - the 288 GTO - please don't do that again ! - love to hear what you might say. (Alain De Cadenet does a great review of this car on UA-cam for other enthusiasts) Otherwise - great shots of a great show - Grateful for the post !
Great detail on the history of the cars that you covered. Thanks for the presentation. You could let go of the term "pretty unique" as it is meaningless. Either a car is unique or it is not. But otherwise I'd love to hear more coverage of these great classics.
German silver is not silver. It is an alloy of copper zinc and nickel.
I really enjoyed the video Richard. Well done! I was interested in seeing the De Tomaso Sport 5000. I'd never heard of the Mugello road race circuit before only the modern circuit. A google search shed some light on that for me. I'm guessing it could be eligible for the Goodwood Revival can-am/gt40 race which would be fun to see even if it would undoubtedly be uncompetitive. The Talbot -Lago is just one of the most beautiful cars I've seen. So many pre war French coachbuilt cars were drop dead gorgeous.
Thanks Christina great to have you along!
Wonderful presentation, still find the "music" intrusive.
That De Tomaso is ripe for Goodwood as is ...!
You pronounce Scuderia Ferrari like you would with the 430 Scud
Cream of the crop..........
Really enjoy these but never as much as in your own w/shop.
Did the dog had a hangover?😄
In this auction it's have one Ferrari F40 nardo grey on private sale, somebody know for how many is selling?
Over 7 million dollars for a single car?
One could hire a fleet of taxi-cans 24/7, on demand, resident at one's abode, for the rest of one's natural life, if the purpose of vehicles were mere locomotion!
The word "spider" is probably a misunderstanding. At the beginning of 20th century probably an english car with the name "speeder" was imported in Italy. At that time much of italians had a low level of english language and the name was written "spider".
If you buy a $7,000,000 car do you drive it to dinner on Saturday night? Do you give it to the valet? Can you enjoy your dinner knowing it is out in the parking lot doing who knows what?
Individual cars fetching amounts that would pay for a factory to recreate as many replicas as wanted.
Replicas... Yuch!
@@RichardMichaelOwen If you're reacting to VW-based SS-100s, I'ld agree, but I mean models identical to the original, If you want to use the cars as they were, which is better to risk; a real piece of history, or a faithful facsimile?
@@parrotraiser6541 there's a wide range of replicas, recreations for sure. I'm interested in original nuts and bolts driving down the road.
Cheap compared with painted artwork that comes in wooden frames. Yes I know: bizarre!
Great video, dreadful music.
Sorry to hear that
Awesome. But I prefer excavators. Bought rare komatsu wb97s 2008 half a year ago - absolutely stunning - all 4 wheels are moving, all this hydraulic cylinders etc - much more interesting to operate that masterpiece than all this crap
