First watched one of your Jaguar engine teardown and restore, which I liked because of the lack of drama. I have since come to appreciate the extensive knowledge outside of your speciallty and look forward to your event coverage videos. Thanks for many great hours from the shop or on the grass!
Good evening Richard! What beautiful and valuable cars. I can't buy any of them, but watching your videos is just as nice👍. Best regards from Hans and Cheers🍻🇦🇹. I can say, this is a wonderful channel 👍.
Great sound and quality in your video. Your narration was perfect, as was the selection of cars you reviewed. Watching it brought back many memories of when our two sons and I attended the historic races & auctions way back in 1988. Many thanks for doing this!!
Hi Mr. Owen. I am a great fan from germany of your restauration- and auctionvideos. But today I must say you made me speechless wirh your colorful, youthful outfit. Well done.
Some of these cars speak so eloquently of their era. The exuberance of ownership is still with them, rising through the air like fumes from a vintage bottle of Pouilly-Fuissé.
Wow, some stunning and unusual cars there. Thanks for sharing with us and giving us a great narrative. Hopefully some of those cars will actually be driven and not just put away in storage. Cheers
Had the opportunity to work on a 300sl alloy body back in 2007. great car, unfortunately they destroyed one of the doors in a merc dealership. It took me one week to straighten it .
I very much enjoy your commentary. You can never please everyone with your videos, but I would say that overall, I always learn some significant detail that I would have otherwise missed. Can't wait to meet you at Monterey next year, that is, if the PB Acceptance Committee gives me the green light. Cheers
Thank you Richard for another wonderful video that enables me, here in Australia, to view some of the best cars ever made. I really appreciate your work.
Great video - I appreciate the details you include. I do have one suggestion however, if possible, I'd love to hear the top bid offered for the cars that go unsold.
Ricardo Rodriguez was killed in a Formula 1 Ferrari in the early sixties, so the commentator mistakenly said Ricardo drove the #41 Ferrari 275 GTB4 with Sam Posey in 1969. Instead it must have been Ricardo's brother, Pedro.
Do you have any footage of the green Ferrari spider right at the beginning of the video behind the gray short wheelbase spider with a competition engine?
That alloy 300SL is an amazing vehicle. That $17M Ferrari is a true running automotive show hot rod, talking about rare. That Delage is like the original hot rod prototype. You've done a great job documenting the highlights of the Sothebys show. That little air intake on the Ferrari 360 presages the later Dino & 308 style. Those Porsche's 911 variants really are not as aesthetically satisfying, save that RS, in comparison. Yeah, I know they were fast as stink but just saying.
Wonderful video as always...beautifully shot and just love the knowledgeable voice over!

ONE HELL OF A AUCTION WOW!!!!
Hi Mr. Owen. I am a great fan from germany of your restauration- and auctionvideos. But today I must say you made me speechless wirh your colorful, youthful outfit. Well done.
Thanks, RMO, another smashing review. For me, it's the AC in original condition that was the star

Fantastic coverage!
Great video thanks for sharing ✌️😄
Wonderful cars many never to be seen again, no doubt, vehicles used for storing money in a safety primarily now

Great video 👏👏

Great video, thank you for the excellent filming and interesting commentary. Can't wait for the next one with the Rudy Klein collection.
Thanks, smooth commenting, etc. And, I a Fan of American Classics……..
Your videos and descriptions are wonderful. Thanks for posting sir.
16:48 That 74' Porsche RS 3.0 and the 96' GT2 CS are freakn BEAUTIFUL!!
Some beautiful cars, sadly nothing in y price range. Not even from the Junk yard. I wonder if Jay Leno had his cheque book out. Great video 2x👍
As Always Richard , your knowledge and enthusiasm holds no bounds ! So who was the cameraman ? Or am showing my age 😅😊

Thank for posting this video! Great to see all of these in one spot!

Este es el tipo de video que alegra mi vida
Amazing video as always great cars
Only in my dreams unfortunately...beautiful set of cars!
Agree; the battered AC w/ Bristol engine was the best pick of the lot 🏆
RMO, thanks yet again for another fantastic tour! U DA MAN!
Great video - I appreciate the details you include. I do have one suggestion however, if possible, I'd love to hear the top bid offered for the cars that go unsold.
Great reporting! I am so with you on that Bristol!
An Isdera AND a Vector? Wow!
Two Vectors actually
27:12 I see a whole lot of future Volvo P1800 in this lovely Alfa/Ghia/Jaguar amalgamation.
I can't believe that you can buy a rare Vector for a lower price than a boring, brand new Lamborghini Huracan.
Another Great Job! Ken
What a beauty the 1932 Delage is!
Cheers!

@@nickedmondson1583 I was there
Hey the Cobra SC ,
fun fact SC has wider rims than COMP. version. Crazy huh?
Thanks, admittedly, the 1964/Hank Williams COBRA IS incredible……….& the BUGATTI , DRIVING is best.
The vectors were clean.

Yes at Retromobile: ua-cam.com/video/Yf3V5nfKUHs/v-deo.html Thanks for watching!
@@RichardMichaelOwen Thanks!
It’s so funny. The Fiat engine blew shortly after purchase and the GM executive puts a 283 in it. Not sure how it fit.
Charles A Ward musta been hell of a boss

Delage and FIAT 8V for me, please
And a pair of Giulietta Sprints, too!
Wow...
Go to the auction and spend millions on your car collection - because "He who dies with the most toys....." welll.... ummm..... dies.
Yes that is cool Peace out
Streamline der ???
993 RSR for 2 is a bargain
Its pronounced Chay-kah-toe not what you said.
Many lots unsold; the market is down, just like luxury watches and the housing market. I may sound like a nihilist but let it tank lol
RM sold the same amount last year!@
👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
And this mope skipped the 959!.......WTF!
When is a black Mercedes not a black Mercedes? I guess when it's silver.
@@DontDrinkTheFlavorAidbro😂
I should have made this clearer, the Mercedes is originally black and still has its black dashboard.
@@DontDrinkTheFlavorAid Duh !?! We should all have reckless mothers , I guess ? 😮😂
