I want one!!! Looks awesome even in snow. I'm a Mustang guy ( I have two S197's GT), but I also like the Challenger and Camaro. Thanks for sharing your video.
its good that they made it with full automatic transmission and also the touch screen and the navigation and hands free phone cool its a very nice ride i hope dodge sticks with automatic transmission i for one don't want a manual car.. good job on the review keep it up :)
Thank you! I'm a huge fan of SaabKyle04, so being compared to him makes me think I'm doing something good, haha! I'm in no competition though. Thanks for watching!
WOW ur reviews even better from cnet and kbb guys, amazing n comprehensive ones, I really wish 2 c a review for Nissan Xterra 2012/2011 and i an pretty sure it will be the best on the web, many thanks for your grate efforts.
SUCH a lovely day for a tour of a car that will probably never turn a wheel in snow... 1:15 - The Challenger didn't "come back in 1978 in a smaller platform". They just slapped the nameplate on a wimpy rice Mitsubishi. 2:37 - Those aren't "extractors" on the hood. They're for incoming air to the engine. I guess the snow must have befuddled you.
Oh, I know, haha! I didn't take offense or anything. People say I look like Shaggy from Scooby Doo too. I've goten that one for years, lol. And yeah, that whole week of filming was during a snowstorm, but I got through it. Glad you enjoy the vids!
I have a 2012 SRT8 Challenger with the 6 speed.... Barton short throw, K&N cold air, and a SLP loudmouth exhaust with mufflers deleted i have a few videos on my you tube..LOVE MY BLACKBERRY!! yes I drive it in the snow Northern Pennsylvania winters
Well, All the trucks and SUV's i have ever owned were POSI... But i mean, I had to drive my Uncles z06 from the repair shop. I had next to no traction issues going up a pass. Mind you, it DID had all season tires and 2 sand bags. Only other light vehicle i have driven in the Winter was a Lotus Elise... Again, with All Seasons... The lotus had a little slip on some uphill Hairpins. There is no reason that these vehicles CANNOT be driven in the winter. If they cannot, it is driver error.
Ya see thats exactly what i said until i started hearing from a couple owners of SRT8's talking about their engines flooding from driving in the rain and snow. Personally i think you're right but i'm sure there are others out there who would beg to differ with us.
No problem, and to clarify I wasn't being mean when I said that. You're a good sport, and make cool videos. Must have sucked making a muscle car review in a snowstorm?
waiting for mine.. in pure white.. because they don't have blue with white stripes or white with blue..with no sunroof lol. and yes.. the tremec.. POWAAHHHH!!!
Yes...definitely under rated. Put my 2012 300 SRT8 on the dyno on a 92 degree day and it put down 423hp at the wheels; at 18% drive train loss known for the setup, that equates to 499 at the crank and on a cool day it could add another 5-10 hp on top of that.
I had a dream I bought this car... I planned on after college either buying this, a new Camaro or a Mustang, they all look nice but I'm leaning for the Camaro, can I get some opinions on some pros and cons of this car beyond what is in this video?
Um snow is not going into the engine. Those are hood scoops that do nothing more than take in air to better cool the engine. They don't lead "into" the engine. What do you think happens when you drive in the rain? You think none of that water gets into the engine compartment?
I guess you've never heard of water injection, which allows for higher compression and more advanced timing. The cooler the incoming charge, the denser it can be and the mlre power it can make. I really doubt an engine would ever suffer hydrolock from a few flakes.
Am i the only one who has the ability to drive muscle cars in the winter? I mean, I also have mountains / slush to contend with and i have never gone into a ditch or "accidentaly" lost control. It's RWD.... Just like a 2wd Pickup or SUV...
Again, water will not go "into" the engine through these hood scoops. They are in no way connected to the motor. They simply let more air into the engine compartment for better cooling.
Cut and dry- + Can actually seat 4 people + Lots of trunk space + Most horsepower + Best looking + Exclusive + Most comfortable + Interior is made of high quality material + Most retro + HEMI - Slowest - Most expensive - Drinks the most gas - Interior is ugly looking - Its huge!
challengers are muscle cars not luxury like a Porsche or viper or lambo its a muscle car so you can drive it in the snow desert or watever it muscles through anything thats the point
Great job showing just about every aspect of the srt8!
that was the best review of this car i have ever seen

Because that snow is really tearing that rubber up.
bought one yesterday same color :D
dislikes = people who like the car to the point where they are made they can't have one
That's what I plan on doing!!
Ya see thats exactly what i said until i started hearing from a couple owners of SRT8's talking about their engines flooding from driving in the rain and snow.

@Loren , mine has never seen snow .. Odd are not good at all with 400+ft torque
I don't know to be honest. I just go by what the brochure and websites tell me, but that's an interesting thought though.

Hey I have a question ik you prolly don't even think abt this app but does the srt8 392 2012 have track mode options etc ?
@@JusDee 2012 SRT model only has 2 modes but full complement of gauges views.
nice vid
Cool video. Anyone ever tell you that you look a bit like that kid Jake from 2 1/2 men?
I had a dream I bought this car... I planned on after college either buying this, a new Camaro or a Mustang, they all look nice but I'm leaning for the Camaro, can I get some opinions on some pros and cons of this car beyond what is in this video?
Man change the title of the video and add the "392" give the car its respect!!
It's just a car. It comes and goes, you can't take it with you when you die...
Agon.
@Leon...shut up..
Leon Visa YES YOU CAN! PLEASE TELL ME YOU CAN?

Challengers Rock
How often could you drive it in the winter with snow tires and traction control?
What are the new features on the 2013 dodge challenger srt8?
my fucking dream car.
nicee...i want onee
This is the first time ive seen it in the snow
im curious how it handles in the snow before i buy one...
IS IT GOOD TO DRIVE THIS IN THE SNOW ?
They do...it's called the SRT8 Core. Starts at just under $40k.
I live in wisconsin and i drive a charger in the snow just need to knoe how to drive it right
@extebax20
This one was $51,380.
Me. I had the whole week off from work.
....but why in the snow
You didn't want to drive it in that snow?
and you'll have to paint the inside wheel after the rust sets in I had to!
It would have been fun to watch you do some shittys in the snow.
Again, water will not go "into" the engine through these hood scoops. They are in no way connected to the motor. They simply let more air into the engine compartment for better cooling.
I just don't get it. Manual not standard in an SRT8?!?!?!?! I drive a Mustang but damn do these cars look amazing in black!
@gunmaster0047 I sooooo agree with you
What wheels are those?
It bloody well FEELS like 500. mind you the car is 4,200 pounds lol. might do a driving video tomorrow.
Simply put. A great muscle car.with the umphh needed to kick some Fords and Chevy's butts!
Haha! Nope, that's a new one! Lol, thanks for watching!
Im having one of those imported to the uk
That is easy. Lighter and a lot more aerodynamic, and probably a newer gen fuel injection system.
looks so mean
This is my Car! i just dont have it yet :P

IF your careful, why not?
6:01 CLOSE THE FUCKING DOOR IT'S SNOWING!
Next time let it thaw out!
🏜
It comes in handy in Cali... Trust me, it's not fun holding your cell phone under your wrist like a walkie talkie...
Dear Santa...
why didn't you open the sunroof? xD
Dang I miss mine. I want this same year again. The new ones are very nice, but it’s something about this year.
Uhh. There's snow in your car..
challengers are muscle cars not luxury like a Porsche or viper or lambo its a muscle car so you can drive it in the snow desert or watever it muscles through anything thats the point
Are those stock rims
Yeah
I swear, next person I see doing a car review who turns the wheel without moving the vehicle moving should have to buy new freaking tires for the car.
I want thes car
A Canadian like myself
Wow, he really does! Haha
I cant take this video with it snowing lol poor challenger!
@manofthefog
