Really like the Austin hood with hood doors. Yes extend that hood to frame rail. And do the belt line to match body. I’m thinking replace body belt line to match hood
That floor is absolutely remarkable! Love the way you almost used every "tool" in the shop, including Josh (drink)! Appreciate how the hot rod/fabrication community supports one another! It's amazing what Travis accomplishes in such tight quarters! Go Bennetts Customs and RAC, keep moving forward!
Outstanding work mate. Love the coupé. You really don't see many of em much these days. I have a scale dicast model of one that belonged to my late father i never knew he had. Its a pale cream and brown color. I lobe these rods especially when done in old fashioned pastel colors or done on the patina look. I admire sheet metal workers and welders, they do what I can only dream of. Keep the awesome videos coming. Good morning from Queensland 👍
Digging the Austin hood. I would keep the side vents and have exhaust tip incorporated into them. It will take a lot of work to make it fit, but it would be unique and a real challenge, but you could do it,
Nice work on that floor pan Jordan and thanks to Karl too! Bet the two of you together could build some pretty cool cars together! Always enjoy your engineering skills, that’s certainly putting that build to a whole new level! Thanks for the video and have a great week!
You must be throwing-in a lot of labor costs to make these hot rods affordable to your clients. When I see the detail and design that goes into your floors and frames (just to be covered up with even more beautifully sculpted panels) I wonder what the real cost would be if monetization weren’t taken into account. Doesn’t matter I guess when your talking priceless results. Fascinating watch yet again and you’ve left us wanting more alright!
Your right. It’s expensive for sure but the small amount of clients we have appreciate the work that goes into every small detail. Thanks Gary! More to come
Jordan that floor has turned into a piece of art it will be a pity to cover it up and I agree with your comments about Travis he does some amazing work in a very small space. That box you unloaded with the fork looks like it might be a CNC Plasma table ? Cheers Greg
Ya ....I subscribe to R A C ....Travis is a real craftsman...He has a great channel and His wife Kelly is learning from Him and has Her own channel...So nice to see Them have the same interests
You should use magnets to hold your pattern down to the sheet metal. there a lot more reliable and cheaper then tape. Also you can use them more then once.
Nice job Karl and Excellent work Jordan looks great Awesome Hood Jordan and did you ever think about hanging brake and clutch pedals Wildwood makes them I’m running it in my 34 Ford pickup Great shout out
Did you make more than one floor kit? I was a bit surprised you guys tore up the template - if you only did a one off maybe you could consider making two or three next time and maybe sell them, would be easy to ship and I'm sure there are folks here that would love one of your floors in a kit format that they would fit and finishe themselves. Just a thought.
@@bennettscustomsco I think you could easily make something really good for yourself and those in the community that do not have the equipment - your work is spectacular. We met in Vancouver at the chopping of the '29 at Frank's & Don's place.
Great Work I'm, subscribed to all of you guys giving me hints and tips on stuff for my project, . So what thickness did you use for your floor bracing MM. thinking this is a beater way than using tube .
I would like to say there’s some funny stuff in this vid. first off. Josh is not a spirit level, he’s a level headed spirit. Karl says is it ok and you say yes, but I added a bit. Priceless. And you nearly lost a subscriber with the English comment. But only nearly. Cheers take care.
Running dies deep in a curved panel center of arc u can run dies deeper on ends of arc u want to run shallower in this u learn too control stretch an shrink in arched panels u are inserting bead rolls...
I do appreciate the touch of class that the music you play adds to your channel .
Yes I watch Travis he is really good too. Karl, you and Travis. Also someone who looks good is “ Slick” a buddy on Puddin’s Fab shop.
What! a very very talented young man. Love his approach, his intuition, his shop, and very much his fabrication skills. What a gift.
Thank you Stuart!

Travis is amazing!!!!
Your good & Karl is good.....what RAC can do is almost unmatched! 💪🔨
Agreed
Jordan you and Karl have outstanding fabrication skills! I'm already a subscriber with RAC and agree with you he is a talented young man!

Canning will all be removed.

How did Karl go in working in metric, or was the tape measure also in imperial.
Hahah I think he used both, sorta What i do too! I was trying to convince him metric is better
I hope you do a slight channel and expose the bottom of the 32 rails. There too pretty to cover up.
They will be visible will some cool ideas for the lower body line too
Use the Austin bonnet it looks great. I thought it wascesrly willys.
Yes I was thinking overlander.
If the floor look thar beutiful, i cant wait to see how the rest of the car will look like. Good work there!
New to your channel. Awesome work and love the blues soundtrack.
Great Work I'm, subscribed to all of you guys giving me hints and tips on stuff for my project, .
So what thickness did you use for your floor bracing MM. thinking this is a beater way than using tube .
Next project, CNC bead roller👍
wouldn't it be better to have the "X" beads reversed with the crown on top? This would prevent moisture and debris from collecting in the beads.
Carpet and insulation wouldn’t sit very level unfortunately
Reckon its high time the Camera guy Josh gets his own Mic too ask he has great things and ideas to share as well... We need to appreciate him too👍👍👍
Ben you must mean! Josh just eats all day hahah
What did you use for treating the rust on the panel? Seems like it disappeared right away!
Looks like the Short & Tall of it......😂
Imagine those louvers chrome plated.
Whats the rust converter product that you're using at 23:00?
Hi Jordan, Mate was that chemical you used for the surface rust @ 23.15 min in, Phosphoric Acid?
It’s call Rust bust- 50/50 with water, wiping off the residue right away.
@@bennettscustomsco thanks Jordan... off to get some... lots of rusty Datsuns to treat.
Does Karl know it's mandatory to scare the shite out of Josh when he comes out of the shitter..... ? 😂
Hahahaha we got a couple rippers coming up
Love your work. Would you please provide a link for the chamfer tool? Thanks

What happened to Karl after he made the skeleton? Nap time? 😁😁😁
Jet lag 😂
If your original sheet metal is sqauŕe, b4 cutting to size put in bead rolls with guide fence, saves on eyestrain following a line,...
Who needs CNC, when you have a Carl...?
Hey Guys! 11:16 is the beach where I filmed the stingray short.

Running dies deep in a curved panel center of arc u can run dies deeper on ends of arc u want to run shallower in this u learn too control stretch an shrink in arched panels u are inserting bead rolls...
